Nice!
Great location, the gesture for half/ half for coffee was a nice surprise. Host was communicative. Place was clean.Bed was comfortable. Cons: cold air blowing in through window a/c, neighbors dog barking.

Incredible VRBO stay!
The hosts Mary and Will are thoughtful and kind. They recommended a few places to check out, which we did and thoroughly enjoyed. The room was perfect- just as described. The view from the balcony is simply breathtaking! The town is fantastic…so many cool things to do there and great breweries too. Highly recommend this VRBO and we will absolutely be returning to see Mary, Will, Odie & Taz again. I give this 10 out of 10 stars!! Thank you guys for making our trip awesome!! Karem, Tim, and Axel

Cozy Upper Room Indeed!
This was our second stay at the cozy upper room, and we had just as wonderful a stay as the first time! The apartment is clean and they have put so many thoughtful details and snacks into it! Our dog loved meeting Taz and Otie, also! We will be back again! Thank you!

Great, cozy lodging conveniently located close to downtown Black Mountain. Spotless. Small space, but set up perfectly to give you all the space you need for a home base. Roomy, updated bathroom with everything you could possibly need. Soaker tub is quite a bonus after a day of hiking. The views from the deck as well as inside are beautiful. Use of the fire pit was also a wonderful bonus. Host was gracious and thought of everything. Highly recommend.

Amazing cabin experience!
My experience during a weekend retreat was wonderful here. Extremely clean and organized, with the hostess having things completely thought through for me. Very generous and very comfy here. I will be coming back to enjoy another wonderful backyard view, fire, and walk to downtown Black Mountain!

Wonderful Visit
Black Mountain is a charming mountain community with the nicest people. I have stayed in the Cozy Upper Room on four separate occasions over the last several years. Mary is a fantastic host. She is very accommodating and definitely goes the extra mile. I will continue to book this listing as long as it is available.
