Love this place, can't wait to be back

Wonderful place, staff was very helpful and nice. The place was well keep and very clean. The view was amazing and the tiki bar located in the back is great.

Enjoyed Our Overnight Stay

We really enjoyed our stay from the friendliness of the staff to cleanliness of the room to sitting around talking with other travelers. If you want quaint, this is the place for you. We would recommend Geneva and would stay there again.

Decent , simple place to stay along the river and walking distance to Bridge of Flowers and downtown shops and eateries. Be aware ifs not a late night town- hard to find dining after 9pm.

Cozy and clean! Parking can be tight at night if you leave the property and return, but it all worked out! Super nice staff and had a great time at the tiki lounge! They had a live band while we were there! We will definately return sometime!

This place was a last minute thing. We decided to stay one night in Chimney Rock. They have a fantastic bar on the property. Met some fun people. It is an older hotel, still nice but rather loud. But a fantastic spot for the price and location. So close to the main street of Chimney Rock.

Very nice for an overnight stay. Rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. They are pet friendly The only issue and it wasnt hotel related was the lack of convenience store or open restaurant. Again not the hotels fault. Only other issue was the hours of the hotel restaurant wasnt posted on the menu in the hotel room.

Great manager! Terry went ABOVE AND BEYOND for us. we were in town for our daughter's wedding and he allowed to stay a little longer to get some awesome photos of the newly weds at the beautiful river behind the hotel. The house is great with lots of room and everyone had a great time. Nice amenities, good shower pressure and hot water. We have already booked a return for our week's vacay in July!

Nice and friendly staff. Older motel with clean rooms. No hot water they were in the process of fixing it they said. TiKi bar was nice staff was great. You can hear what everyone is saying and doing in the next rooms typical of an older motel.

Terry the manager was very friendly and helpful. Loved the tiki bar and pool area. Enjoyed the karaoke. Had a band the 2nd night we were there but did not get back in from dance festival to hear them but thought that was a nice touch. Only small complaint was that the coffee station could have been a little better stocked . Was not enough water for the keuric at one point. Would stay here again and would recommend it

We really enjoyed our stay at Geneva. The manager, Terry and his wife were awesome. Terry went above and beyond for us; he made the house accessible for our son in electric chair! He made a little ramp and it worked perfectly! We were in town for our daughter's wedding at Lake Lure and he let us stay a a little longer after check out to get some beautiful pictures out back by the river...We even booked a return trip for the summer for our annual family vacay. This may be our new vacay spot!!

We arrived around 4:30 to check in and we knew check in was @ 3. The room wasn’t ready yet so we were given free meals and drinks for compensation for 2 people. The food and drinks were good. The shower drain was clogged and there is a large gap to outside at the a/c unit and one at the base of door to go outside.

Nice Get Away

Great little find. Weekend get away. Right off river. Kayak rental and drop next door. A 2 minute drive to little beach. A 4 minute drive to Chimney Rock Village with great shopping. A tip..... everything shuts down by 930pm. There is an Ingles (grocery store) about 20 minutes just up by Lake House Restaurant which is also very good place to eat!

Loved wedding party service and loved they could get a room their after the party and close hotel room was clean didn't get go see tiki bar .But would like to come back and stay a week. I've been dealing with cancer and up their the air clean and I felt better than I felt from when i find out i have cancer july 2,21 . LOVED IT COMING BACK SOON. THANK YOU ALL.GOD BLESS YOU ALL.

Ok, but needs work.

Staff was friendly. Tiki bar area was nice but the hotel needs a lot of work. Some holes in walls, faucet not attached to sink properly. Bed was uncomfortable due to age. Mini fridge barely kept cold. Could be a very nice property with amenities but its just not being properly taken care of.

Very outdated property! Overall motel is in very poor condition, parking lot has more potholes than asphalt! Needs major upkeep and repairs. Housekeeper did a decent job as my room smelled clean, but the bed was extremely uncomfortable and the linens and towels were very cheap. This is NOT a good property for families.
