This smoke-free cabin features an indoor pool, a fitness centre and a sauna. Other amenities include Access to hot tub, laundry facilities and an arcade/games room. The cabin has 6 bedrooms and offers free WiFi and a DVD player. A kitchen comes with a fridge and an oven, and guests will also find upscale touches, such as a fireplace and a jetted bath.
Air-conditioned accommodation at this cabin offers fireplaces and washers/dryers. Rooms open to balconies or patios. This accommodation is furnished with day beds and dining tables. Great house, great location!

We had family ranging from 2 to 60+ and we all had a great time. The house is beautiful and very spacious! Unfortunately, it rained most of our trip, so we didn't get to enjoy a lot the resort offered. Howewellsaccommodating!

A piece of heaven in Rumbling Bald, Lake Lure

This is a beautiful, well maintained property. We had 3 of our grown children and 6 of our grandkids. We loved the room we had to spread out and not get in each other's way. With 14 we ate alot so having 3 fridges was wonderful.Loved the amenities of the resort. The pool was enjoyed by all along with the lake and beach.

Comfortable home with lovely view

This home is very comfortable with nice family/group space on both floors. The bedrooms are comfortable and there's lots of space for everybody to spread out. Downstairs game room area great for the kids.

Wonderful family retreat

We had the best time at this lake house. Being on the resort was also a major positive since we were traveling with a large family group who at times wanted to do different things. Completely serene and relaxing and the house manager was exceptional in communication. House was fantastic! Zero complaints and highly recommend!

Immaculate Cabin

Memorial Day Getaway

We rented this property for a big family get together. It far exceeded our expectations. The house is beautiful, the beach was awesome and not crowded, and we enjoyed breakfast around the big table. This house has every comfort you could possibly need, and Laurie is extremely accommodating.

Multi Family Vacation 2019

Awesome Fam Vacation

Lake Lure and it’s surroundings are a great place for a family vacation. This home only added to that. Great, great property!! Great location. Great facilities at Rumbling Bald. Would definitely come back and stay. Home was clean and spacious as well as very well stocked. Playroom on lower floor was great for the 5 kids we were traveling with. Host was excellent and easily available. Check-in and check out super easy.

NYE Perfection!

Fantastic property. Clean, comfortable and up to date/current furniture. Kitchen was well stocked! Sharp knives and every gadget we could need. Party of 13 and we were able to cook, eat and hang out with ease. Great entertainment with pool and fooseball. Relax at fire pit or hot tub. Awesome stay! Highly recommend for a beautiful mountain get away!

Christmas House 2020

This property is great for a large family lots of space to be together and also be alone. Its a beautiful setting of the lake and the mountains with great sunrises and sunsets. You can just enjoy the views or there is lots of things to do, my family liked being in the woods, snow skiing and going on the zip line. The owners are really nice people if you have a problem they take care of it, I greatly recommend this home for a family get together

fun place

the property was very pleasant and my family enjoyed the stay as many adventures are presented by the location. I would stay there again. Laurie was most responsive and even found a mattress for one of our grandchildren in order that the three youngest could sleep together. The appearance of three bears excited the whole family. One small problem was the distance from market and other stores but that does not merit any deduction in the overall great rankings.

Awesome Property

This property was exactly as described. The kitchen was fully stocked, the bath rooms and bed rooms were clean and very comfortable, the game room was also very well stocked with games and all the grills and fire pits had adequate gas. However, one of the best parts of my experience was the professionalism and quick reply's for the host May. Her help very much made the stay that much better. Best VRBO rep I have ever worked with!!!!!!!!

Peaceful Getaway

Overall a great place. We experienced a neighborhood power outage of several hours. Exciting! There were a few access glitches and some maintenance issues but the owner was on top of them quickly and they did not interfere with our schedule. Great location within the Resort for food, beach access, sports activities. Home had plenty of room and kitchen was very well supplied with utensils and equipment.

Wonderful Setting

This property is exactly as advertised. Shared by 6 couples and we had a wonderful 4 night stay. We played golf at Apple Valley at Rumbling Bald which is a little challenging but beautiful. We rented a Pontoon on Friday for 4 hours and enjoyed the many different views and beautiful homes on Lake Lure. While there are many things to do we really enjoyed are stay at this fabulous cabin and spent more time there than planned because it was just picture perfect, Our host May was very responsive to questions and needs. A family of 10 to 16 would be very wise to rent this beautiful cabin or 6 couples as we did. A return trip may be in the cards!

Wonderful spacious home

This was an excellent fit for our large family gathering. The kids had a great time in the lower level taking advantage of all of the games and activities available. The kitchen was well stocked and the house was comfortable. We did have some trouble with some of the bedrooms being very cold during the night even with the heat on, but it was an extremely cold weekend. Next time we will just bring extra blankets.

Wonderful, clean property in a great location.

Our family enjoyed our week at the property! The resort amenities were enjoyed by all. Kitchen was well stocked with plenty of seating for family meals. Lots of gathering areas inside and out. Lots of games and books to entertain in the evenings and a rainy day. Laundry area was nice and roomy! Communication with property mgmt was always prompt and helpful. Our only complaint would be the mattresses. Several of us experienced sore backs and necks from mattresses with very worn areas. We just napped on the porch swings each afternoon to make up for it! Overall, we had a wonderful week in this beautiful home!
