Wonderful stay!

This house is great! Very big, roomy, and nicely appointed. You’re in a neighborhood, but feel secluded. The outdoor seating areas are awesome. Location is great, as well. Easy drive or Uber into downtown.

Beautiful and spacious

My friends and I do an annual mountain retreat and couldn’t be more pleased with the stay. Hot tub on the deck and s’mores before bed made for a great trip! Can’t wait to book again next year.

Plenty of room for everyone

It's a great house. The driveway is steep and curvy - don't try a trailer. So many bedrooms and bathrooms - our group of disaster relief workers had plenty of space to rest after a day's work. The mountain view is amazing.

Perfect location and home for a gathering of 14 friends to enjoy Asheville sites. The kitchen was well stocked for us to make complicated meals together. We would definitely rent this property again if we return to Asheville.

50th birthday celebration

House was great. It is beautifully situated in the mountains with amazing views. We had a large group and had plenty of space. Kitchen was well stocked to prepare meals. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms were clean and numerous. We had a great time.

Mountain Getaway

We had a large group of friends come up for the weekend. The location was great,close to town but it felt like we were away from everything, especially at night. The house was very accommodating for a large group, we had 11. Beautiful views of the sunrise and the mountains. We will definitely use this property again.

Our family Thanksgiving at Vista View Lodge was an unforgettable experience! The breathtaking views truly set the stage for a perfect holiday getaway. The location is excellent, providing a serene atmosphere while still being conveniently close to local attractions. The gathering spaces were spacious and inviting, making it easy for everyone to come together and celebrate. The kitchen was impressively sized, allowing us to prepare our Thanksgiving feast with ease. Overall, Vista View Lodge was the ideal setting for our family gathering, and we left with wonderful memories. We can’t wait to return for another holiday celebration!

Great view and plenty of space

My family ( ages 21 to 84 ) spent a wonderful Christmas at Vista View. Really enjoyed the overall space. Played plenty of games, shot pool, soaked in the hot tube, and sat at the fireplaces inside and out. My only recommendation is to update some of the furniture and put new felt on the pool table.

Ashville visit was very nice

Property was in a wonderful location. Given the steep access and driveway a more prominent address marker would have been helpful. The pool table is in need of repair, but the other amenities that are listed were accurate. The management was good with communicating and were very welcoming to our group

Destination wedding

Very spacious for a large family on a long weekend for a destination wedding. Close to Asheville and many amenities . We had 16 adults.Great mountain views. Porch area covered and nice when it rained. Loved the area and would stay again. Would suggest some hand rails for front porch for those needing assistance.We had ages from 84 to 2 years old and everyone had their own space.

Beautiful home in a beautiful location

This home is gracious and beautiful in its own right, and it is in a beautiful location with sweeping views of other mountains and the valley below. Indoors, everything worked well, including the air conditioning, refrigeration, and water system. Family members greatly enjoyed the ability for all of us to gather in the spacious, interconnected kitchen, dining room, and great room areas. The relative isolation of the property helped us bond together as a group, while the proximity to the greater Asheville area made it possible for family members to shop, sightsee, and learn about the community. Perhaps the greatest hit was the outdoor fireplace which, even in hot summer weather, was a favorite gathering place.
