Great location in downtown Asheville - many bars and restaurants walkable. Welcoming and friendly staff, lovely room for breakfast and a good offering with baked goods, egg bakes, overnight oats, yogurt and fresh fruit - endless supply of fresh coffee!

Beautiful property - our room was large, clean and the bed was comfy. The location was within walking distance of everything in downtown Asheville. The only cons were that there was no elevator to help with our luggage to the 3rd floor. Also, the shower water pressure was not really great - no matter how you adjusted the shower head flow. We would stay there again.

Exceeded expectations for our stay. Personable staff shared their story and experiences of the unique property with us. Highly recommend and will definitely stay there again next trip to Asheville.

Great location for downtown shopping & restaurants. Our room was beautiful (top floor of Rosalind Building). Yes, there are a lot of stairs so book a different floor if that’s an issue for you. Staff was very accommodating and there is plenty of room in the lobby of Rosalind to spread out if you want to hang out downstairs. Nearby restaurants - best meal was at Ukaiah. Most disappointing was Chestnut (terrible service - food was okay.)

This is a beautiful property with amazing staff! Our Darling Heart Suite was spacious and well-appointed, with a nice private patio and a large shower. Jeff and Jake were dedicated to making our stay wonderful. We had drinks at the lovely bar one night, which was made even better by the gracious bartender, Thistle. All told, just a really enjoyable experience.

Such a charming retreat steps away from all that downtown has to offer! Walkable to all our favorite spots, we enjoyed the plush, spacious suite and the charming staff at the desk and bar. Comfortable room for sleeping, large bathroom well stocked with towels, a quiet place to sit outside for the afternoon, chess and coffee in the evening, a lovely spread for breakfast—we wanted for nothing! A delightful spot to stay. We will return!

Great location, less crowded area of downtown and cleaner. Well preserved historic hotel homes, very clean, and quiet. Room decor and finishes are luxurious, elegant, and on trend. Easy to find and parking was easy. The continental breakfast pastries and the wine selection were good. We didn't get a chance to try cocktails but would love to next time.

Lovely unique hotel with spacious rooms, lovely breakfast and helpful staff. It is perfectly located to be able to walk to shops and restaurants, and less than a 10 minute drive to The Biltmore.

We stayed in an Executive Suite and while it was spacious, the room was very musty and humid. It smelled like mildew. We only stayed two nights and spent little time in the room. On check-out day, I found the cause of the smell. There was black mold covering the patio door, windows and flooring around the door. I noticed the staff as we were checking out. The room had been like that for a long time as black mold doesn’t grow overnight. It should have been noticed and the room should not have been rented out without mold remediation. I haven’t heard from management yet, but I am hoping they see the pictures I sent them and fix the problem before renting it out again.

We loved Zelda's! Great location! The room was comfortable, and we slept great in the bed. The complimentary breakfast was perfect. We also enjoyed watching the 4th of July fireworks outside in the courtyard. They do have a ramp, but if you are uncomfortable with stairs, you should call to get a lower-level room.

Close to the center of town by only a few blocks yet with a secluded and restful vibe. Great characterful rooms across multiple remodeled Victorian buildings made this a memorable stay. A cosy bar, great continental breakfasts and great local scene guidance add to a 10/10 experience. Most significantly while it is not staffed 24/7 the daytime staff could not have done more to help with grace and a warm smile. Probably some of the most professional, welcoming and genuinely interested staff I have ever come across in many hotel stays around the world. Can't wait to return

Overall, great stay. Breakfast was excellent - more than continental. Check in was a little clumsy as the ‘front’ desk is actually in a separate bldg and the clerk had to check 3 separate groups in at the same time and then walk us all to our bldgs and rooms. Seems like they need an additional person working the check in area during peak times (this was ~5pm).
