Absolute Murray River frontage four bedroom, two bathroom, airconditioned house.

"Clean and everything provided. Very minor issues.....water pressure to second shower area not good. Would like a safety barrier/rail to upper lawn area, especially around fire pit.Thank you Steve......we had a terrific time, and will revisit when can. Hope all left was satisfactory. GLENYS."

"House is in a great location and easy to find. Murray Lake and a warm fireplace in winter is fantastic. Views were amazing. Plenty of space for guests. A few notes however, The indoor and outdoor fireplaces needed cleaning before they could be used. Limited in pantry supplies, while this is not the obligation of the owner, when dropping a few '000 on your stay, some staples would be nice. The blinds in the master bedroom didn't open with the pulley, upon seeking help, the agent offered to come out to manually roll them up. Again, not a deal breaker but blinds should work in a house. Roll out sofa bed frame brokenWe were made aware of neighbours friendly dogs but they were too friendly and a little one could go through the gate into the house, disturbing dinner until I carried him over to the neighbouring property. Summary: Our family and friends had a great time. House had charm and most things worked. Clean and tidy upon arrival. With some minor improvements, it would definitely be more value for money."

"The house was clean except for the oven the grill tray had food and stuff all in still and the oven tray was dirty. The beds were not that comfy but that may be because I like soft beds but if you have a firm mattress you may find it really comfy and the pillows were hard so dont forget to take your own if you prefer soft pillows. The house is beautiful and the view is stunning and would definitely recommend to family and friends."

"Tailem Retreat has to be the most meticulously clean BnB we have ever stayed at. It is modern, has every mod con, spacious, quiet, comfortable, easily accessible and a very accommodating host. I would highly recommend to anyone to stay here. 5 star rating to us, we thank you very much Chris it made going to our daughters wedding an even better weekend by staying there. "
