“The hotel is very close to the beach, and was perfect for our family visit for the D Day anniversary. Staff were friendly and helpful - very enjoyable stay!!”

“This property was absolutely beautiful and quaint. We stayed in the Catherine suite which had its own private green room. It was a real treat! I enjoyed listening to the rain and sipping tea in the early morning in the green room. Our shower was fantastic and the bathroom was newly remodeled. The property has a lot of history and preserves the charm of a real French country Chateau. The grounds are gorgeous and our hosts allowed us to spend the evening exploring the park and fruit orchard.……

“Location, setting & surroundings are excellent, peaceful, nested courtyard compound. The adjacent church bell, on the hour is ok, presenting some ambience in a very quiet location. Breakfast was a bit limited continental, boiled eggs, toast, breads & fruit. Shower head (Pop room), was on the handheld (rain head not working?). Very smart, clean & well presented location with parking (both EV chargers would not deploy energy despite online registration & payment validations, which was……

“Our quick visit to Hôtel de la Plage was wonderful. Despite a much later first night arrival, the staff kept in constant communication with us for check-in and had keys and information waiting. The restaurant was closed, but they put together a last-minute charcuterie board and some drinks for us. Clean rooms, great beds, central location, wonderful food and not enough can be said about the staff. Always welcoming, always smiling, just fantastic and charming. Easily would stay here again,……

The breakfast was very nice with many traditional French options including local cheese. I didn’t use the pool, but it was very nice. The spa has 2 nice jacuzzi’s that are large. “Nice hotel! Vehicle parking available across the street towards the pier. Friendly staff! Breakfast was very good!! Room was clean and comfortable. I stayed on the 3rd floor. Good to know: no elevator access to upper levels; stairs only. Not a big deal imho. Nice area! Great location; close to WWII historic sites. About a 15 minute drive to the American Military Cemetery, and about a 1.5 hour drive to Mont Saint Michel to the southwest and Le Havre area to the north east. I would stay here……

“The breakfast was disappointing for the price point charged. The room and bathroom were nice sized; the bed was uncomfortable. The pillows were not good quality as well. There was great air conditioning but the blanket provided retained your body heat; we were very comfy when we went to bed but very hot starting about three hours after going to sleep.”
