"Open concept lobby, excellent breakfast buffet, staff helpful and professional. Rooms well appointed- oh and Nova Scotia music played in lobby- not just traditional but Nova Scotia musicians. Nice touch"

"We like the beautiful surroundings, the historic Cottage and River Lodge . We like that there were amenities like a swimming pool and a hot tub, shuffleboard and other outdoor activities. We were pleased that it had Wi-Fi in all the cottages and had moved away from wood-burning fireplaces too electric. ..."

"Beautiful location, clean and easy check in and check out. Listing says fits 6 but really ideal for 4 adults. Six if you have younger kids maybe. One suggestion is to invest in more comfortable couches. Also the water had a strong odour (sulfur smell)."
