Gorgeous villa

We wanted a relaxing holiday, somewhere peaceful, and this villa ticked all the boxes. Clearly furnished with love, equipped with everything you need (a coffee machine AND coffee pods!), a beautiful pool, and an amazing view over to Assisi.The owners were welcoming, and Daniela was incredibly helpful throughout our stay. Assisi isn't really within walking distance, but Daniela recommended a great driver, and there are some pretty villages and towns not too far away.

Wonderful!

A more beautiful house would be hard to imagine! The view is amazing, the grounds beautiful and the house well stocked with essentials including soap and toilet paper. A bit of a rough driveway but only 15 minutes from Assisi. The most wonderful and accommodating hosts. We hope to return!

Dream villa and countryside

Daniela and family are super hosts and their home/property is a perfect mixture of beautiful and practical. My grown children and I had the dream vacation visiting Assisi, Orvieto, Perugia, and Spello in the mornings; lounging by the pool in the afternoon; and cooking dinner in the evenings. You can’t do better than this!

Lovely and private house to relax

We had a great time at the accomodation for our worcation. Great for relaxing & work. Very private and silent area, huge pool and a lovely garden. Everyone was nice an very helpful, I can wholeheartedly recommend this place!

The most beautiful house in Assisi

We just got back from the most amazing stay in this beautiful property, the location and house are magical and we already miss being there! The hostess welcomed us and explained everything and help us during our stay with any doubts we had. It is the most beautiful house in Assisi and we totally recommend this property! It’s truly 5 star!!

Poggio Ginepro Assisi is a gorgeous villa located just down the hill from the town of Assisi. There are spectacular views of the Basilica of Saint Francis from two of the bedrooms and bathrooms. We took some amazing photographs of the basilica, particularly at night when it was all lit up! Daniela, the daughter of the family who owns the villa, met us upon our arrival to show us around and her mother, Maria Grazia, arrived shortly after. The mother works at a wonderful home goods shop called Daca on the other side of Assisi which we recommend stopping by during your stay. Both were lovely people and extremely helpful and quick to solve a problem we encountered during our first night there which we greatly appreciated! The villa itself was beautifully decorated and super clean with many amenities including a large swimming pool. There was a washing machine, but no dryer, and since we were limited on our clothing, we found a full service laundromat (Lory Blu Lavanderia) to do our laundry in the nearby town of Santa Maria degli Angeli. We absolutely loved our stay at Poggio Ginepro and highly recommend it for families and couples. Thank you for an amazing stay!

Beautiful & Relaxing

We had a fantastic time and greatly enjoyed the house and the beautifully landscaped backyard and swimming pool. The view from the villa is breathtaking. The owners are very responsive and helpful. We had a multigenerational party, from teenagers to my aging father, and everybody loved the villa’s many amenities.I highly recommend the property.

Gorgeous home in the country

The pictures do not do this beautiful home justice. We were warmly greeted by the owners on arrival and they were a delight throughout our stay. The house was well appointed with everything we needed. The home has gorgeous antiques from all over the world. The grounds and pool were beautiful. It is in a great location to visit Assisi and Spello. We would love to return!! Highly recommend this beautiful home.

Serene paradise outside of Assisi

Charming traditional villa owned/managed by attentive local family. Secluded and remote but still close to Assisi. Beautifully maintained grounds with views everywhere including stunning view of Assisi. Spacious, comfortable and with everything you need to relax and enjoy. Hosts also offered numerous great recommendations for food, bicycle rental, and activities. While it is a long walk to town it does offer spectacular views. Otherwise it’s an easy 10 minute drive to old town and also to Santa Maria degli Angeli. We were a family of 5 adults (the house has 4 modest sized bedrooms and lots of common space) and we would return for an extended stay in a heartbeat.

Perfect holiday

Our stay in Assisi was a last-minute decision but it was the perfect choice. We wished for a relaxing holiday after the long weeks of lock-down and stressful work. The villa was a perfect hide-away for our small family of three. We could not have imagined a more ideal place for our little boy and ourselves. We spent nine days in the villa during the heat wave and we loved it so much that we hardly ever left the house. (Luckily we had already spent some time in Umbria so there was no pressure to go out.) The villa is beautiful, spacious and nestled among lovely hills. Since it is also built on a hilltop there are breathtaking views of the surrounding olive groves and af course the magnificent sight of Assisi. And when you cross the wrought-iron gate there is a fairy-tale drive that leads you to this hidden Paradise on Earth - so you can truly get away from it all! The garden is spacious and full of lovely smells of lavender, jasmine and rosemary which you can also smell while swimming in the most fantastic pool. The house is lovely, created with great taste and attention to every detail. It really felt like home away home! And this feeling was enhanced by our hosts who were the loveliest hosts we have had. Maria Grazia and her family gave us the warmest welcome even though we arrived late in the evening and a lot later than planned. They did everything to make our stay enjoyable and were always there to help. Thank you Daniela for you kindness! We will come back again! Renáta

Beautiful place near Assisi

Very beautiful villa near Assisi on a large property with a stunning view. The place is very quiet, but shops can be reached in 15 minutes (by car). The whole family is very helpful. We were a group of 7 and had enough space for everyone. No complaints, we would come again any time!

This villa is truly gorgeous and the pictures do not really do it justice Wishing striking distance of Assisi there is so much to in around this area Daniela was a fantastic host and went out of her way to help us out. Every query was attended to quickly, with lots of hints and tips on what to do This was the perfect location for a large family

Maybe the best place to stay in Assisi!

We had an amazing stay at Poggio Ginepro. The house is stunning, the location is perfect, the host are warm and VERY accommodating. My only complaint is we didn’t have enough guest to fill all the amazing seats. This house would be perfect for hosting or an extended stay. I can’t say enough good things.
