Hotel Elliott delivered on everything in a small, cozy room. The location downtown is central to everything, breakfast is better than average, and the coffee was excellent. 「This is exactly what I was looking for. I am lucky to do a solo "mom/artist retreat" each year. The space offered a well stocked kitchen for cold foods and separate areas for the activities I wanted to do. The museum is housed in the old Clatsop County Jail in Astoria, Oregon, which is on the National Register of Historic Places. The building was used in a famous scene in the 1985 film The Goonies. The museum opened in 2010, coinciding with the 25th anniversary of the film.
