「This is an excellent location, about 15-20 minutes outside of Galway. The room was clean, included two twins and was comfortable. We were on the top floor which was up two flights of stairs, only annoying when bringing the luggage in. There was parking for about 6-8 vehicles in the back, we didn't have trouble finding a space but the lot was full each morning. 「We booked for one night, and were looking forward to using the spa facilities. When we arrived, we were told that they were shut for refurbishment. Apparently, this work has been going on for some time. I was told an email had been sent out. I did not receive any email. The hotel has a duty to let people know such things, so they have a choice of changing their plans. I noticed a lot of unhappy people that weekend. They are not afraid to charge top prices, and yet offer very little in return.」

「Hotel was very nice overall. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The restaurant / bar area was very nice, although the food itself was average at best. The staff was as helpful as possible. At night the girl serving as hostess was also the one who checked us in. Although the hotel wasn't in the heart of the main shopping, restaurant and pub area it was a quick taxi ride to get there. Parking on site was very convenient.」

「Beautiful public areas. The restaurant was good but no coffee before 8 AM available. Hotel room furniture is very dated but clean and if you are only sleeping in the room and not there, all day it is fine. Staff was very, very friendly and helpful.」
