Classical Acropol στην Αθήνα

Το προσωπικό ήταν πολύ εξυπηρετικό, το πρωινό πλούσιο αλλά όχι πολύ καλό. Το δωμάτιο μεγάλο αλλά με παλιά έπιπλά και άβολο στρώμα στο κρεβάτι. Η συντήρηση του ξενοδοχείου φτωχή (μικρές ζημιές στα έπιπλα, στο μπάνιο, λερωμένα χαλιά και τοίχοι). οι καθαρίστριες βέβαια το καθάριζαν τακτικά κάθε μέρα το δωμάτιο και το μπάνιο. Ενα μικρό προβληματάκι με το προσωπικό που έμπαινε μέσα στο δωμάτιο κάθε πρωί (και τις 2 μέρες που μείναμε) χωρίς να χτυπάει τις πόρτες για να ελέγξει το mini-bar, και μείναμε εμβρόντητοι. (Πρέπει να βάζεις την ταμπέλα do not disturb απο το βράδυ για να μην βρεθείς σε δύσκολη θέση)

Das Hotel Acropol liegt in der Nähe der wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten und direkt an der U-Bahn

Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt im Allgemeinen bei diesem Hotel. Wobei die 4 Sterne doch etwas großzügig vergeben sind. Dafürt ist es aber auch nicht teuer. Das Frühstücksbuffet war ausgezeichnet, sowie die Hilfsbereitschaft der Mitarbeiter des Hotels. Ein sehr großes Manko ist allerdings die Lage des Hotels am Omania Platz. Zwar hat man die U-Bahn vor der Haustüre, dafür aber auch jede Menge Taschendiebe, Prostituierte, Drogenabhängige... die hier zu Hunderten Tag und Nacht rumhängen. Es gibt durchaus schönere und sichere Ecken in Griechenland!

Excelente ubicacion, creo es lo mas valioso. Las habitaciones bien sin ser espectacular. Lo unico que me parecio caro fue el costo del desayuno, si pueden paguen por anticipado

Camera con piastrelle rotte; corridoio per arrivare in stanza pieno di sacchi di spazzatura e sacci con lenzuola sporche; cattivo odore nel corridoio e in stanza; mancavano le maniglie delle finestre per aprirle (ogni volta si doveva chiamare la reception per aprirle e per richiuderle); rumori durante tutta la notte per autoclave acqua vicina alla stanza; quartiere pessimo (davanti all'hotel ci sono solo tossicodipendenti e ubriachi, non si può uscire la sera).

Short Holiday in Athens

Hotel staff were helpful and worked hard to satisfy the guests. Rooms could be cleaner. The bed was not comfortable. Convenient location but the hotel was very noisy partly as a result of itslocation but more so because of large numbers of children apparently coming on some Group Tours.

chambre qui ne sont pas de toutes jeunesse ,rideau qui n'ont pas vu l'eau depuis des lustres quand vs prenez une douche toute la salle d'eau est inondée le pt déj est correct et l'emplacement est pas mal pour pouvoir faire plusieurs balades à pied sans avoir à prendre les transports en commun le soir il y a pas mal de gens louchent mais ils ne sont pas méchants et vs laisse tranquille ns ne ns sommes jamais senti en insecurité durant notre séjour ce fut surement un jour un cinq étoiles mais il y a longtemps c toutefois correct mais s'en plus il ya moyen de trouver mieux je pense s'en trop de probleme le personnel fait l'effort de parler français

Convenient Location

The hotel was very conveniently located and is close to all the local sites - the furthest 1 mile away so were able to walk every where. The metro station is located opposite the hotel and is quick, cheap and safe. I had read some negative reviews about the area in which the hotel is located - Omonia Square - and was a little anxious. The area is very run down with a lot of graffiti, immigrants, beggers and we witnessed a couple of people who were high on drugs, however, the square itself is ok and has some good shops and cafes and there was a lot of police presence. We were two young females and we felt perfectly safe in the main square area but the side streets are another story. I would avoid the side streets because there were lots of groups of men hanging around and we didn't feel safe going to those streets. The hotel is on a main road and is very noisey. You could hear traffic noise all through the night. Also, there is a coffee shop opposite the hotel which is open 24hours and some men who congregate there create a lot of noise all through the night. The hotel room was large and clean but could do with modernising. Our rooms were cleaned everyday and hotel staff were very helpful and sorted out issues immediately. We really enjoyed the breakfast.

Run down hotel

The location is great since it has the metro a few steps from the main entrance of the hotel and it is really close to the acropolis. The breakfast buffet is great and the overall service is good. The bad part is the surrounding neighborhood, it is very populated and looks scary, doesn't make you want to go out for a walk. The rooms are spacious but run down carpets, fixtures, etc. It looks like it was once a nice hotel that has gotten absolutely no maintenance.

ottima ubicazione

Hotel situato in una posizione strategica, a pochi minuti dalle più importanti zone della città. E' possibile visitare la città partendo dall'hotel e camminando verso il centro. La fermata della metropolitana è a pochi metri di distanza. Buon servizio e pulizia.

Classical Acropol Hotel; is in a central location it was very convenient, near transportation. Employees were polite, but not friendly, they were terrible at giving diretions. The electronic door key to my room had to be reset multiple times each day, everytime I went back to the room the key would not work. Overall that hotel. The front desk employees need to smile sometimes.

Die Lage ist schrecklich

Die Lage am Omania-Platz ist alles andere als einladend. Gegen Abend fahren regelmäßig Polizei-Omnibusse vor, um wahrscheinlich größere Ausschreitungen zu vermeiden. Auf dem Platz sind dann lauter Leute versammelt, denen wir alleine in der Nacht nie und nimmer begegnen wollten. Im Hotel selber wurden wir nicht gerade freundlich empfangen, allerdings war am nächsten Tag die Rezeption mit netteren Mitarbeitern besetzt. Das Zimmer selber war recht sauber, allerdings etwas abgewohnt. Das Frühstücksbuffet war für uns in Ordnung. Erstaunlich für uns war, dass sich das Hotel selber mit 5 Sternen schmückt.

Decent room, hard bed, rough area

This hotel was a fair deal for the price. I was pleased with the room's amenities (king-sized bed, cable TV, nicely equipped bathroom, free wireless internet), but the area of Omonia Square leaves a little to be desired. The bed was really hard, also. While the SUPER EASY access to the Metro was wonderful, the area is a little shady at night. I felt a little uncomfortable walking around alone, but in a group I wasn't terribly scared. When I walked around the area to find something to eat (not much in the square), I saw a DRUG DEAL two streets over! Otherwise, the hotel staff was very friendly and helpful, and the room was just fine. I would stay here again, though it might not be my first choice.

What A Disgrace

The hotel is located in one of the worst sections of Athens, Omonia Square where political protests are a common occurance,.riot police very visible. Very dangerous to wander out after dark. Front of hotel is filthy and lobby has extremely worn out and stained furniture. The advertised bar is rarely open, especially when we would like to stop in for a drink at the end of the day or before dinner. It was never open. or the bartender closed it in my face. The front desk staff was irritable and found questions annoying. She directed us to a bank ATM, which we found to be locked with a metal gate, no card access. We returned and mentioned this to her, she explained that it was "open" we just didn't do it right. Big help that was. No retaurants within short walking distance, just fast food. Metro was near thank goodness. We walked during the day and found at least 3 blocks of mess, then it finally cleaned up and became tolerable as we were closer to shops and the Acropolis. The hotel restaurant is a buffet. big open hall with rows of tables. Friendly staff there. Doorman and baggage handler both very pleasant. Elevator broken too. window in the hallway to our room broken. Smell of mold, bed hard as a rock, furniture well worn and stained. This was not worth the price, If I had known more I would have spent more for somewhere else. It was the first and worst of our 3 week trip.

good hotel

we enjoyed the stay at this hotel. The rooms were big and clean. Bed linen were very good quality.A good location and it was within walking distance to Plaka.We would reccomend this hotel.
