Thissio Cocoon For Two

  • This lovely apartment locates in Thissio area, a breath away from Acropolis hill. The place is fresh renovated and set up for two travellers!



    The apartment is located in a very strategy place, next to Keramikos, Petralona and Thissio, you can be anywhere in 5 minutes by foot!



    Thissio Cocoon has a double spacious bed next to a fully equipped kitchen. A flat TV and two comfortable armchairs



    The whole apartment is fully air conditioned while there is also a boiler to provide you with hot water for 24/7.



    Attention please: The air conditioning only works when all the doors and windows are closed. Otherwise it will remain closed.



    Of course the beds are already made-up, with fresh ironed sheets from top quality. Furthermore there are clean towels for every single of you.



    Entire property has free Wi-Fi!



    Keramikos is the closest Metro station and the bus station is 20 meters away.



    Smoking is only allowed in the balcony



    Common quiet hours 11:00 p.m. – 07:00 a.m., 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Great place to stay!

We enjoyed our stay at this property. The information and communication from George were excellent. He arranged a transfer service from the airport which was very convenient. The property is in good condition and includes all key comforts. The location is excellent for its proximity to nice cafes, bars and restaurants as well as the main sights to visit. There are shops and supermarkets nearby.

Die Fewo besticht durch Sauberkeit, die gute Erreichbarkeit vom Flughafen (Metro ohne Umsteigen) und ihre zentrale Lage zum modernen Alltagsathen und zum antiken Zentrum Athens. Allerdings sollte man Ohrstöpsel im Gepäck haben. Das ist aber wirklich die einzige Einschränkung. Astrid

Not what I was expecting

Misleading exterior photos, seems like it’s in a much nicer spot in town than it is. It is close to the attractions but the immediate surroundings are not very inviting. We were unable to connect to the WiFi for at least the first two days here because they gave us the wrong password multiple times. We put the blinds down once and couldn’t get them back up the rest of the stay, they did offer to send someone to us to check it out and fix it but we were already uncomfortable with the area and didn’t want more strangers involved. They only gave us two rolls of toilet paper for our 6 night stay which was not nearly enough, we needed to buy more our 3rd day. The shower could also use a door, it doesn’t matter what you do unless you move everything out of the bathroom, it is going to get soaked when you’re out. Overall I would use this on a super low budget but other than that I would not stay here. Much better options for around the same price in better locations in my opinion. We never met the actual owner once, communication always took more than a couple hours for them to respond. Overall a negative experience at these accommodations.

This was my first time using VRBO and Thissio made it a great experience. It was a great place in a great location. They were available and responded quickly and in a timely manner. I would definitely recommend this place. Thank you for making my experience in Athens memorable.
