They didn't post that they were in the middle of a renovation and the elevators dont work. i had to carry all of my and my child luggage up the stairs to the 3rd floor. No one offered to help us or the other guests with their items up the steps. They should have been doing that or offering the help. This is not on their website because like me and others who was staying there said that " we would have never paid to stay here if we knew we was going to have to carry our items up the stairs with no help from the hospital staff." when you go on a vacay somewhere you want to relax. I couldnt relax cause they was working on the room right next to mine I needed to rest and I couldnt because the workers was working in the room next to mine. I need a full refund is what I need to get back from them. Also on the website it doesnt state that you have to pay $100 property damage fee that is refundable. If i didnt have any extra money I wasnt gonna be able to stay there and we was their for my daughter BIG statewide chorus event the majority of the people who stayed in that hotel during the weekend Jan.9-11 was there and we were all upset and mad about that to. When you go somewhere you want to be comfortable and relaxed and there was barely any hot water coming out from the sinks to wash face and brush teeth. I had to not only drive 2 hours to get to the hotel for the event but then I had to carry my own luggage up the stairs I was tired this made me even more tired and upset. REFUND ME

This review is as much about Expedia as it is about this property. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience warrants one. I booked this hotel through Expedia several days in advance due to its proximity to a large conference I was attending with nearly 1,000 other people in town. At check-in, I was told the elevator was broken and my room was on the third floor. I explained that I have a leg injury and asked for a first-floor room. I was told none were available. I also asked if a discount was possible due to the elevator being out, and was told that because I booked through Expedia, that wasn’t an option. With no real alternatives, I checked in. After climbing three flights of stairs, I was immediately hit with an overwhelming smell of marijuana throughout the third-floor hallway, which was also noticeable inside my room. This made me feel unsafe and was completely unacceptable. I contacted both the hotel and Expedia to report the issues. While on hold with Expedia, the front desk called my room twice, but the phone had no audio. The attendant eventually came upstairs and suddenly offered a first-floor “upgrade” with a jacuzzi. I questioned why this wasn’t offered initially when I disclosed my injury. There was no real explanation. He also denied noticing the marijuana odor. Expedia ultimately offered no assistance other than canceling my reservation, which was unrealistic given the lack of available hotels. After being transferred multiple times, I was told

Front desk staff were very friendly and efficient when checking us in, breakfast was filling with a good selection to choose from. Our room was clean with plenty of towels. Our only complaint- pillows were too soft. Overall, a good experience.

Room was in OK condition, it wasn’t dirty, but furnishings were dated and worn. TV had a defect where there was a big dialogue box covering up about 20% of the screen that they couldn’t get off. One of the desk guys did come up and try to help and I give him credit for that. It was just overall a mid-level hotel.
