"The pool and hot tub needed a good clean, there was scum at the waterline on the pool tiles and the area smelled strongly of chlorine, not always a good thing. Since the pool area does get a high load of activity and no showers were available to "rinse off" before going in it means there is a higher risk of the cholrine not "keeping up" resulting in cloudy water. The jets in the jacuzzi were broken. The remote was not responsive on the TV and we had to figure out how to get the tv to respond with several features not working. The beds were very comfortable, room spacious and clean, towels were fresh. The breakfast is the best feature of this stay as well as it's proximity to the highway. Additionally, it was nice it allowed pets."

"Very nice little cottage. Fit me and my two friends well enough but would be very comfortable for two people or a couple plus one other person. We loved hiking around the property. Beautiful hiking trails and pretty extensive too. Had a blast exploring them. The host was friendly and welcoming but gave us plenty of privacy. Will definitely come back someday."

"When I arrived at 6 PM, the staff was busy, but I got in within a reasonable amount of time and they checked me in. The room is beautiful, and I love the decor. The bed slept really well and having a high-tech shower was great. Everything was so spacious and well laid out. Free drinks were helpful too and I was able to relax for two glorious, blissful nights. Their breakfast was one of the better ones I’ve had and I’ve never had scrambled eggs so good either. This is definitely a place. I will go back to if I have to stay in Athens again."

Nature Lover’s Cabin Retreat - private 24 acres w/trails and pond!

"Great house we rented for our daughter's graduation from OU. It took only 10 to 15 minutes to drive to campus. Yet the place looks out in the country miles from everything. I saw other comments about the steep driveway but we didn't have any issues (granted we have SUVs but both have smaller engines.) You can easily park out front if you don't use the drive. Very private location and we got to see a large wild turkey run through the backyard! We cooked out on the grill and loved using the firepit. The loft was great for my daughters to hang out in. Kitchen well equipped. Note that the master bedroom did not have space in the closet to hang clothes - but there was plenty of room in the other bedroom closets. One constructive comment would be the kitchen floor rugs - everyone was constantly tripping over them and they don't stay in place (one of us spilled a drink on the floor when they tripped.) Owner was very responsive and very helpful. Would stay there again, especially for any OU campus events vs staying at a hotel."
