Great property but things to be aware of

Our stay had some high points and a few notable drawbacks. **Pros:** - The location was great, very convenient and close to malls and shopping areas. - The view from the apartment was nice. - The apartment was spacious, providing ample room for our group. **Cons:** - We had to request check-in instructions, which should have been provided automatically. - Despite being a 3-bedroom apartment, there was only one remote and one key for both the apartment and parking. - The cigarette smoke from other units was heavy and lingered on our clothes. Everything had to be washed to remove the smell. Property has a tons of plug-in but it only mask the smell for so long. - The host was unaccommodating to our requests, only mentioning they would take them into consideration for the next guest. - Only one black makeup towel was provided. - We had to pick up the key offsite at a grocery store, which was inconvenient.

Everything was perfect with the apartment itself. Only complaint we had was the strong scent of pot on the second floor coming in from the parking garage. My husband had open heart surgery at Emory St. Joe. He got released a day early, so we didn’t need the last night.

First we had to pick the key up from a store about 15 minutes away.After arriving to the property, people were partying all around the grounds and including the stairwells. The inside of the building reaked of Marijuana in the hallways and outside the balcony. I chose to stay at a different place because I didn't feel it was a safe place for my family, I call the manager and explained to her the situation and immediately took the keys back. The place was clean and the manager was quick to respond to any questions but given the environment we chose to stay elsewhere.

Building and location great. The kitchen was sparce. Only 1 FOB that is required to enter the building and use the elevator. Had to pick up keys over 2 miles from building in high-traffic area. The absolute worse part was the property manager. We did not receive the code to pick up keys. Called and texted several times and no one responded. One of the numbers they provided was not in service. My husband was finally able to get help by calling their corporate office. Unfortunately it was now after 6 pm and we missed our dinner reservations. When the property manager finally called me she said she never received my calls or texts yet she contacted me on the same number I used to try and reach her. What was supposed to be a fun, relaxing holiday weekend with my family turned into a high-stress situation all due to the lack of responsiveness and professionalism of the property manager.

Once we got checked in we really enjoyed our stay. The reason for the overall 3 stars are for the check in process. Check in instructions are sent I believe it was 24 hours before actual check in (don’t quote me on that) which is fine, except there is a address listed on the ad that is different than the address given in the instructions. You also have to go offsite to pick up the key to the unit at a convenience store (not listed in the ad) about 10 minutes away. Super inconvenient. Especially since we were ubering. So I had to add a stop to get the key. Once we got the key, we ubered to the address listed on the ad. Wrong! You need to go to the address given in the instructions, which in turn made me have to call another uber to get us 10 minutes up the street to the correct address. Once in the right location we were able to gain access to the unit fairly quickly.The communication with the host was fantastic! Though I was very upset about how this stat was starting, she was able to de escalate the situation quickly. She answered the omen
