This is a great hotel in a convenient location. When you get to this part of town, you do pay a little more, but for what you get, this is one of the better values in the area. I found the staff to be extremely helpful, and that helps a lot, especially when you're navigating Buckhead Atlanta.

10/10 experience. Best experience ive had at a hotel so far. The space is beautiful, valet people were friendly as well at the people at the front desk. They were very accommodating. Fun engaging activities daily with reminders sent to my phone. It definitely gave princess treatment while on vacation. I cant wait to come back soon!!

This is a lovely property nestled not far from the Buckhead Triangle. We only stayed one night, but the staff was amazing! We were there to attend an event at Chastain Park. It was conveniently located, and we were able to get back to the hotel quickly. We’ll definitely stay there again.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay & will be back again! When I first arrived I had to move rooms due to a smell in the room. The staff was immediately accommodating & very kind! The location was very convenient and walkable for some spots as well. We have friends in the area and I look forward to visiting them & staying here again.

Staff were great, they try to help as much as they can. But the building is too old it’s falling apart elevator feels like a roller coaster. Hallway stinks, carpet stained. Self parking is crazy you pay for a full day you go out comes back your spot is taken.

Enjoyed my stay! Check in was fast and easy, loved the hotel restaurant and bar. The room was well appointed and there were nice areas both inside and out. The location was also convenient. My only complaint is that there was not coffee in the room, they do provide in the lobby but I would prefer to not have to leave the room to get coffee in hte morning.

Overall, the hotel was okay, but it feels designed for a younger, party-oriented crowd rather than families with kids. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable, which we appreciated. However, the amenities fell short for a family stay.Parking was a challenge. Valet was the primary option, and the self-parking lot is incredibly small. We had to hunt for a spot and luckily caught one right as someone left.We also had to skip the pool because it was packed with adults and had a loud pool-party atmosphere with music playing. Additionally, there are no coffee makers in the rooms. When I went to get coffee in the lobby around 9am, it was empty, I waited but eventually had to track down staff to get it refilled. It is a nice property, but not the best fit for travelers with children. Thank you! Diana

The staff was incredible. Rachel the assistant manager was wonderful. I was incredibly sick and she made sure that the food that I ordered was delivered to my room (she delivered it herself!) and that I had a swift checkout. The hotel itself was gorgeous and wished that I hadn't been so sick to enjoy more of it. Will absolutely stay here again. Amazing hotel and even better staff!!

I had an amazing stay at the Kimpton Sylvan this weekend! From the moment I arrived, the hospitality was exceptional. Every staff member I encountered was genuinely friendly, welcoming, and eager to help. The room was spotless and smelled incredibly fresh, which made it feel even more relaxing and comfortable. It’s obvious that cleanliness is a top priority here. The bartenders were fantastic and made some excellent drinks. They were personable, attentive, and created a great atmosphere. A special thank you to Miss Rachel, the manager, who went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. She was incredibly helpful, accommodating, and truly exemplified outstanding customer service. The valet team was also on point—quick, professional, and efficient every time I needed my vehicle. Overall, this was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had in Atlanta. I highly recommend the Kimpton Sylvan and will definitely be back on my next visit!

Lovely hotel with lots of character and charm. My room was very comfortable and clean. Staff was super friendly and accommodating. My room was quiet and relaxing. The lobby was warm and welcoming. Nice bar and restaurant on site. I would definitely stay here again.
