Room for Improvement at a Convenient Downtown Location
I stayed here over a recent weekend and was unfortunately let down by several aspects of the experience. The breakfast service was poorly managed—long lines, limited seating, and several items consistently ran out without timely replenishment. It didn't meet the expectations I’ve come to associate with Marriott properties.
Additionally, only one of the two elevators was consistently in service, creating long wait times and crowding, especially during peak hours. The bar area was also underwhelming—limited drink selections, no real ambiance, and it felt like more of an afterthought than a guest amenity.
Lastly, while I understand the urban location, the presence of numerous unhoused individuals right outside the property made the entrance feel less secure, particularly in the evenings.
Staff were friendly, and the location is great for downtown attractions like the Georgia Aquarium, but overall, the stay fell short of expectations. I hope improvements are made in these key areas.
