All together there were 6 showers took and we never had hot water o
The staff, the location, and the ambiance of the Stone Mountain Inn is just spectacular! If they would reopen facilities such as the pool, restaurant and bar, this location would be perfect!! Just needs a little re boot and some fresh energy to bring it back to life! But the staff is truly incredible !!
We entered the room and my Grandsons first words were “Nana this is the best room” he then ran towards the patio window and opened the curtains, and of course he wanted to connect to the wifi
We booked here because the main hotel at Stone Mountain was sold out. Even though it was a holiday weekend, the Inn felt like a ghost town. There was nobody staying there. The place is in terrible shape. The AC quit in the first room we were given so we moved. Room was somewhat dirty. There was stuff on the floor (old candy?). Paint was peeling. There was a dead roach in the bathroom. The grounds and pool are rundown. Ice machines didn't work. The rooms are large, but the space is not needed for anything. The entire place is rundown. It should be torn down or given a major refurbishment.

The staff was courteous. The room had an uncomfortable musty smell. The Tv had no signal. The other rooms had rocking chairs on the patio but ours did not. The ice machine was broken and we had to go to the lobby for ice. We would not stay there again even though the room was spacious.
This is a very old and sad resort. It looked deserted and almost abandoned when we pulled in. Pictures had shown rocking chairs on each rooms small patio. But even though the hotel was much less than 1/2 full we had a room with no chairs & a broken handle on the porch door. There was dust everywhere & brownish water in the toilet. The only reason we didn’t leave was we happened to see another couple around our age getting out of their car on the other side of the hotel. So we felt somewhat better about staying, thinking that if they could handle it we could. We did see a family in the pool and hear them playing on the basketball court so that also reassured us we weren’t alone in this run down place. The room was very large and you could see how beautiful it once was but not anymore. There are no vending machines, we had to drive a few miles down the highway to get snacks. A Very Very Disappointing experience.
This inn needs some TLC badly. The grass was overgrown, spider webs in the window corners, doorknobs held on by loose screws, dirt on doors, just really needs maintenance. It was clean enough inside, and a quiet area, but it was hard to get past the abandoned look of the place. However, the staff was super friendly and helpful.

Seen Its Better Days
My room was not ready when I arrived. Check- in was at 3:00 . The room was not ready until 5:00, no apology was offered . The hotel grounds were poorly kept. The hallways and corridors were dirty. The hotel is dated. The lamps in the room weren't working;however, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I made it through the night, but I wouldn't stay there again. Too old looking and musty.
I understand the hotel is a classic but at least mow the lawn. Pool was green and unable to.use. Staff was great but maintain your property!!! Trash all around.. This was a State Park!! Very disappointed in this place. And Stone Mountain is a wonderful park.
Not alot to offer other than a room to sleep. But for the price was a good stay. Just needs to offer more amenities. Pool wasnt up either

Had a few problems
Check in lady was super nice but the room the refrigerator didn't work there was no coffee cups there was no sugar it just really lacked.. no one was in the hotel the pool was closed memorial Day weekend and I'm sure they could have been a little more efficient no restaurant either.
The Stone Mountain Inn is under renovation so I was accommodated to stay at the Evergreen Resort Hotel on Stone Mountain Park property The Hotel Staff was polite and helpful our Room was clean and the Lake View was beautiful
The mattress was uncomfortable. We were in room 215, great view to the pol and lake. The SPA was dirty and we couldn’t use it. The indoor pool was great.
Staff was very friendly and the room was clean and comfortable. With an awesome view of the lake

Well I wanted to stay at the Inn but they moved me to the resort. It was nice but not beneficial for me. I was there for the Powwow and was looking forward to being closer to the event all weekend.
The property is old and in need of an update. However, we found our room to be clean and comfortable. It is very convenient because you can walk to the laser show. The staff was friendly and check in was easy. However, the lights at the entry really need to be repaired.
My AC was broken and it was 90 degrees in the room. No one came to fix it and the guy at the front desk just shrugged and said sorry, we’re all booked I can’t switch your rooms. Absolutely horrid experience at this property. Plus the pool and the restaurant were closed and the balcony was so dirty we didn’t even enjoy it. DO NOT STAY HERE

Comfortable rooms with great on-site dining. I took advantage of the quick access to the trails around the lake. Beautiful!
