I cannot imagine what happened but I sure wish you would have given me the opportunity to address your concerns before leaving a review. Please contact me directly with any issues and if not addressed fully, I welcome constructive criticism. The only inquiry I received from you was regarding the fact that I don’t allow renters to bring boats. Our board instituted a $150 fee for the use of boat ramp/slips for renters. As such, because I thought this is excessive to ask of renters, I do not allow boats. Cindy

Thanks for your review. I spoke to you within a few minutes of each of your 4-5 phone calls. I'm not sure how I could have improved my communication rating. I tried everything to make you happy including refunding your cleaning payment. When I asked if we could re-clean or how I could make you happy, your first response was to ask for a rental break on a future rental. The picture of the mop that you took and sent to me was of was dirty mop but I do not replace the mop after each rental. You also sent a picture of the aluminum foil covered pans under the burners. Because they get so dirty and impossible to clean, we do cover them with aluminum foil. There was surface rust on the front of the refrig. since this is the beach and things get rust very easily. We did go down this weekend and replaced the 5 year old refrigerator. I feel like your rating was overly negative and you highlighted things that would be impossible for anyone to meet. I believe any clean floor that you wet and wiped with a white rag would show some dirt. For any renter considering this comment, please understand that this is an older beach hotel rental. It is not a 5 star Ramada Inn. The room is very basic and it does get cleaned after each rental. It is far from perfect but it is certainly in line with the pricing I charge. The blankets and pillow protectors are used in between renters. The blankets/pillow protectors are only washed after several renters. And if a renter leaves a dirty spoon put away as clean, unfortunately, that is probably not going to be caught by my cleaning crew. Since this renter, I did replace the refrigerator and changed out the shower curtain. I used to change the shower curtain each season but see how that probably is needed more often. I will see that that is done sooner in the future.
