"Tolle Landschaft, traumhafte Ruhe und viele schöne Ausflugsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe. Der Ausblick in die Ferne ist einfach wunderschön, die Gastgeber sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. "What a great stay! The hosts were incredibly kind and went above and beyond to ensure we were happy including picking us up and dropping us back at the train station. The apartment itself is beautiful and has everything you could need to be comfortable. We wish we had added another day to our trip just to stay in the apartment and look out over the vineyards. Hannelore pointed out a good restaurant just up the road for us to have dinner and a bakery for breakfast, both of which were amazing....

"A lovely, well-equipped house in a stunning location with its own fabulous garden. Brilliant for our family group of 10. Lots to do locally. The gem museum, gem mine, Celtic settlement were great trips and the open-air swimming pool in Rhaunen was much enjoyed. We visited Herrstein twice! Klaus and Anna were really helpful hosts. Highly recommended."

"Large place with separate bedrooms, large living room and well stocked kitchen. Our family of four was comfortable during our two night stay. We had good communication via email with the property. The view of the vineyards was amazing with small view of the river from our lower unit. It is on a big hill so a bit of schlep into the small commercial district and driving a stick was tricky, but parking was easy. Place was clean and stocked with the minimum, but one bathroom sink didn't work and...

"An der 2 1/2-Zi-Wg gibt es wirklich nichts auszusetzen; das Interieur sehr modern, aber trotzdem gemütlich. Ein grosses Pluspunkt auch die bedachte Terrasse, sodass man auch bei Regenwetter draussen sitzen kann. Die Gastgeberin, Frau Pirschle, sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Nein, es gibt wirklich nichts zu bekritteln. Wir genossen auf jeden Fall unseren 6-tägigen Aufenthalt. Und: eine sehr ruhige Gegend (Einfamilienhaus-Quartier)."

"Ein liebevoll eingerichtetes, großes Haus. Eine wunderbar große und sehr gut ausgestattete Küche. Der Whirlpool ist leider kaputt, die Dusche leicht undicht, das Bad ein Durchgangszimmer, die einzelne Toilette im Erdgeschoss direkt im Abgang zum Keller, die Treppe in die Schlafetage unregelmäßig und sehr steil. Die Umgebung nahe an der Nahe ist für Spaziergänge ideal. Für Leute, die gerne Fernsehen gibt es Netflix und co kostenlos."

"Had a lovely stay and would definitely return. Very central but away from the noise. Everything you need for a few nights stay. Lovely to have the terrace, which we really enjoyed. One small quibble and it's a personal thing - the pillows were too soft for our liking. Great host, we were actually having lunch in his restaurant when i phoned him, what a coincidence!,"
