“Did not receive the room type that was in the reservation. When I went back to the front desk I was told there was nothing they could do except leave a note for a manager. Nothing was communicated to me about this at checkout either. ”

“First things first: I hugely recommend. Wonderful. The rooms, rather, our room, was great. Lots of light during the day. That place on earth is Dark at night. Also silence. Amenable to life. There is beautiful small river on the property. River, not babbling brook. But not the Missi...spelling, you know what I mean. The owner (Marcia) was super-welcoming, and had lots of info about the area. She spent a huge amount of time welcoming us, given all the things that they are doing at LRCBnB. You……

“It was a rustic cabin, it had power, microwave, a good size fridge. Easy to get to, could park right out front. Had use of our own port-a-potty. Walking distance to the creek. Kids loved playing it in. Dog friendly. Owner was very friendly. We happen to come during out of normal hot temps… but at night still very comfortable. WiFi is only at the main house and had bring being our own bedding, that was unclear on this site… but on the main website it’s much more clear. Thanks again! If I ever……

“It was a quick overnight and back on the road for us on a cross country road trip. Beautiful historical home with a cute neighborhood. We took a walk with our morning coffee and learned about some local history. The house was well maintained and clean. The beds were very comfortable ”

“We were in the area for a ski trip which was a last minute addition, so accomodations were scarse. The Motel had rooms at a reasonable price. We had fairly low expectations. Everything was fine. A few things could be improved: 1. Need better curtains for the window that faces out front due to a very bright porch lamp. 2. Need a curtain for the bathroom window. We had to place a folder to block the view! 3. It was very hot in the room! Good for this winter weather if course, but was hard to……

“Quiet and quaint for a true WV country feel. Close to WVU without the hustle and bustle of being downtown. Check in and check out were hassle free and easy. Great communication from the owners. Little cafe across the street is lovely. Had a wonderful experience and will definitely stay here again!”

“Loved the cabin! My only complaint was that the upstairs bed got hot during the night making my daughter uncomfortable. We put the fan up there the second night but it didn’t seem to help. She slept on the loveseat. Everything else we loved! ”
