「This is a good property. It is just outside the city near water (not the main river, a side creek. It's a quiet community with plenty of amenities. Check in was easy, it took just a few seconds to get the door unlocked (keypad) but once you did it it was easy. Alana, my host, was attentive and responsive. I had no issues but I'm certain she would have quickly responded if she was needed.

「Overall a very poor experience. This was a VBRO rental through Travelocity. We got not check in instructions and had to make several phone calls to get assistance for check in. Overall almost 2 hours after a day of travel to get into the unit. The unit is very sparsely furnished and has only a double bed and couch. The place was not very clean either. Would definitely not rent again」

「What a gem!!!! The PERFECT place to stay not minutes from New Bern but out in the country. Everything is perfect for an outdoorsy feeling with every comfort you could want. Details have been considered in this well appointed little home. The owners were so nice and we loved seeing the farm animals. Will certainly come again and bring friends to rent the other cabin!」

「Super cute cottage. The surrounding areas were nice. Met with the owners of the property which had large fire pit, if you like farm animals like ducks chickens and goats you’d love this home. We did run into an issue with the water heater not operating correctly the owner attempted to fix it but was unable. We were offered to use a shower room attached to the home. We had a 2 night booking and would stay again as the only inconvenience was no hot water for both days.」
