“Sailors Choice was the perfect place for our extended weekend stay in Oriental for the Cycle North Carolina event. Steve and Sarah were very responsive to any questions or needs we had. The apartment was very comfortable and well stocked. It is on the Blackwell marina and about a mile away from "downtown " Oriental. We plan to return in the future.”

“Great, cozy, comfortable, close to everything. We loved staying here. The space is charming and we had everything we needed. We appreciated having plenty of towels in kitchen and baths, a comfortable bed, the lovely blooming Confederate jasmine, and an easy walk to everything in the historic district. We didn't bring pets but even though the space allows pets, it was super clean. No trace of past furry friends. Check in and out was easy and April was very responsive to questions. “The perfect weekend retreat! We enjoyed the spacious screened porch and dock with views of the river. The home is beautiful & spotless with modern touches, a stocked coffee bar and comfortable spaces for everyone to gather. The host was quick to communicate and shared helpful tips about the property. Bridgeton is convenient to shopping, historic New Bern and nearby summer camps. We hope to stay again soon!”

“Perfect location, very cute and cozy, very clean. Everything you need but a ground coffee maker. There is a Keurig with some pods but if you prefer fresh coffee, bring a Keurig 1.0 pod for your ground. Several coffee shops around the corner but, if you're like me, they're not open at 5 am....they open at 7. We will most definitely stay here again!”

“Cozy quiet get away”

“The space was ideal for our family of four and my sister-in-law. I enjoyed a jog around the property, appreciating the marina and ponds. For 12, our family purchased a day pass at the clubhouse with access to the outdoor pool, indoor pool, hot tub, sauna, and workout facilities. We love New Bern and this property's quick access to "town" was a perfect fit for our visit.”

“This is a good property. It is just outside the city near water (not the main river, a side creek. It's a quiet community with plenty of amenities. Check in was easy, it took just a few seconds to get the door unlocked (keypad) but once you did it it was easy. Alana, my host, was attentive and responsive. I had no issues but I'm certain she would have quickly responded if she was needed. The room was cozy, about the size of a large extended stay hotel room. It was a little dated but I……
