All staff members were friendly and helpful, especially the valet white young man, he went above and beyond to accommodate parking. Hotel is walking distance to the state capitol and other major attractions in downtown Austin.

property in really bad conditions , from 1 to 5 (-5 ) definetly need to put some money on the property conditions .... staff and service were good ... 2 thing completlly different, service was good , not recommended to stay, period.

This low end motel is in an excellent location right next to the beautiful capitol of Texas. There is a lot of potential with this motel. The staff were very helpful, and the bed was not too bad. However, the lights flickering, door to the shower/toilet not opening, the tub spout falling off was not great. If they fixed up the units, and made an effort this could be a wonderful option for budget minded travelers. We easily walked from the motel down to 6th street, the capitol, and to good restaurants and we felt safe doing so.

The staff was very friendly! Huge kudos to them. The rooms are big and clean. But very poorly maintained. The bathtub bubbles when you step in it, and just a tremendous amount of areas that would look 100% better with a fresh coat of paint

We didn’t realize when we booked this property was so old and in dire need of updating. The lobby elevator had cracked, broken and uneven tiles that is a trip hazzard. The Staff was fine. The cleaning crew has a huge challenge making the room feel clean and fresh. The mattress looked very worn. The walkways and outdoor parking area are dirty. We heard outside traffic noise, pet noises guests noise even though our door locked it did not seal. We would not stay at this property again.

Over all our stay was great we will gladly come back.It nice to know we can check in any time we were driving for a long time.it was nice to come to a clean place to rest and relax.Thanks for everything .We will definitely recommend it. We only stayed one night, but compared to others La Quinta this was left subpar. You get what you paid for. Room was clean enough. It looks like they are remodeling but not. Plaster on floor. Door was missing upper lock. There was pee in the stairway. It said non smoking but the smoke was still there. One night stay was good since it was close enough to the concert venue. Parking was good you had to pay but not too bad. The rooms were clean. The pee in the stairwell was the grossest part for me. I know its Austin but ewww!

Elevators were small and dirty. Rooms were dirty and bedding looked like it had stains. The staff was amazing. The best customer service I’ve had at any hotel for awhile. I was also charged twice for the room and it’s still not been refunded.

We were given a "newly renovated" room which obviously didn't have a final inspection. The faucet in the bathroom was extremely loose and when the handle was lifted it came completely off. The hot water in the nook with the coffee maker, etc wasn't connected so no hot water here. And no hot water in bathroom sink. There were no bath towels, tv by the bed was not working, exposed electrical outlet by tv, commode seat was loose and wouldn't tighten up, and the floor needed sweeping. On the plus side the mattress was a really good one! Staff was friendly & tried their best. It is is a good location and within walking distance to downtown & 6th Street where all the action is :)

The staff were very friendly and helpful! However, the pool area was very dirty and had dead plants all around it, and the keypad to the pool was broken which made it difficult to use. The room was cozy, but the floors were not clean and the bathroom doors wouldn’t shut. The headboard on one of the beds was broken, and only one bed had a duvet. The hallway to our room smelled horribly and needs a good clean. Breakfast was delicious though, and it was within walking distance of everywhere we wanted to go.

For a last-minute trip the location and price was very convenient. You’re basically paying for location more than anything. A couple issues. It could definitely be upgraded. A few bulbs were out so lighting was poor, the bathtub scared me so we didn’t use it. The amenities were OK, served their purpose, there was a pool and complimentary breakfast. Staff was helpful and accommodating. I called to check in. They said my room is ready and so I tried to go ahead and drop off bags, but they still wanted to charge an early bird fee.
