The house overall would have been a great place to stay, if it wasn’t for how gross it was. When we arrived to check in the house had not been cleaned properly and there were more longstanding issues like deep red stains on the mattress and grime in the washing machine and fridge. There were several wasp nests on the porch ceiling over the threshold of the front door. We contacted Portoro who offered to re-clean the house and cover up the mattress (gross). After several days back and forth with Vrbo, Portoro offered to switch out the master bedroom mattress but given the state of the house, a little one with us, and a high risk health issue on my end, we were not comfortable staying at this property knowing we would continue to find issues and asked for a refund, which was refused. We stayed with family and ultimately checked into a property through another platform. Needless to say, we won’t be repeat customers.
