They literally called the police at 11:40 am to force me to leave. I was in Austin for the highway letting and was turning in bids at 1:00 that I needed to finish up but they said no get out. I have bid and built projects staying in places all over for more than 30 years and really have nothing to compare an experience this unimaginable to. The bartender at Torchy’s Taco was however nice enough though to let me in a panic plug in my printer and computer for a little makeshift office on their outside bar area (even in the middle of the pandemic) to get the proposals printed out and bids turned in. It was hot and windy but it got the bids done. I returned his kindness with a $100 tip. I guess changing the sheets on a bed is much more difficult for some than others.

Lovely clean place

We had a lovely stay at Tracis Heights Modern I. It is located in a quiet established neighborhood. We will definitely stay here again because it meets our needs. We were looking for a place that is big enough, clean and away from the downtown scene, but close enough if we want to visit 6th Ave. It closed to a couple of parks that have tennis courts. Overall, this is a great place people that want space, quiet location, but close enough to get to the main touristy attractions.

Best Stay Ever

We loved staying here - the home was spotless, and in a very quiet neighborhood. There was a carport for the car, and everything we needed was convenient. It was 8 minutes to downtown Austin (not during rushing hour - that was 20 minutes). We will definitely stay here again !

Great Place to stay

We really enjoyed our recent stay at Travis Heights Modern l. The owners have it nicely decorated in what I'd call a 1950s retro look. It was clean and they provided everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. It was also a nice touch when we first got there that there was music playing. The only two things that were an issue was that the air conditioning didn't seem to be working well in the larger bedroom, and there weren't any handrails for the tub or tub mat. Other than that, it was perfect.

What a great find! The Plum Door was a very comfortable two bedroom, one bath duplex in a sweet residential area with easy access to South Congress and downtown. Light and airy modern decor gives the space a clean, fresh feel, and it was clear that the owners put a great deal of thought into ensuring all the little things that make traveling easier were right at our fingertips. We would rent again in a heartbeat!

Great place near downtown Austin

Needed to stay close to downtown to get to an early morning meeting before the Austin traffic trapped me. Great location...took me 10 minutes to get downtown at 7:45 in the morning. Older neighborhood that is pretty, well kept and quiet. My unit was very comfortable and very clean. Everything I needed was there. Wi-Fi worked great. Even had a carport. Absolutely no negatives at all. Would definitely stay there again. THANKS!

Great Place for Comfortable Stay

This happened to be a business trip and it worked out really well. The neighborhood was nice and quite. The con to me, compared to staying at a hotel, is no gym and no restaurant/bar to go have a drink at but with food delivery services it worked out fine. The bed was comfortable and I could see it being really nice especially if it was a family trip. With a full kitchen and refrigerator this would be a great place to stay when I am trying to eat healthy as well!

Not excellent. Laundry was very old and not located inside of accommodation. All concrete floors, Feel cold in January. Would choose local hotel insted
