This is a very nice, clean place. The rating is due to two problems, one a safety issue and one just annoying. The first: the stairs are a beautiful wood, but they curve 180 degrees and blend into each other, so it's easy to trip. One of our party did just that, fell down the stairs and had to be conveyed to the ER. A simple fix would be to put a highlight strip at the edge of each tread. The second: be aware that you are not just dealing with a host, but with VRBO and a third party, Austin Vacay. Only VRBO was responsive to us in a consistent manner. Austin Vacay was not, and we never heard anything from the host. Were these two problems addressed, this would be a 5 star property, but until they are, a five star rating is not appropriate.
