"My second stay for business. Rooms are clean and fresh with modern streaming services on the TV. Love the nespresso in the room. I went up to the 12th floor restaurant for a glass of wine. Lovely atmosphere and friendly bartender. Will definitely continue to make the Element Downtown my hotel of choice if they continue current service levels."

"Hotel location great; staff and valet very helpful. Room was large, stylish and beautifully designed with luxurious touches - such as the amazing rain shower. However, it was uncomfortably warm, as the fan only goes down to a certain temperature (several degrees higher than what we prefer our home to be). When you would turn the air on, it never seemed to blow properly. Hallways too were warm and stuffy. Also, pillows were the cheap feather kind that are too flat even when you use two. Because of these issues, we did not sleep very well our 2 nights. Hotel should also upgrade tv’s smart/HD as they are very old. "

"-Let us check in early -Staff were nice -Building next door is being demolished so very noisy construction. -could not use balcony they had screwed the door shut -blood on one of the pillow cases just grossed me out -A/C needs a good clean. "

"The room was great. It was well furnished and very clean. The staff especially at night were very friendly! The whole cleaning staff was very nice even Maria. She was very welcoming and told me if I needed anything to give her a ring. 10/10 place. Will definitely head back here when I get the chance again. "

"Very friendly staff with beautifully renovated interiors. I did notice water damage on the ceiling of my room but otherwise very clean with a spacious bathroom and lots of counter space. It’s a 10 minute walk to a shopping mall however, not a lot of dining options nearby."

"Friendly staff and great location. Quite dated with old carpets and door locks that didn’t ever work the first try, but comfortable beds. They need to figure out or improve the radiator situation - I’m not sure if the temperature is lowered when the rooms aren’t in use, but the first night it was so loud it was impossible to sleep through. Fortunately the second night was quieter, but the third night I could hear a similar noise from an adjacent room. Adjusting the thermostat made no difference on the very high temperature. Although not fully the fault of the hotel, someone smoked something rank in a room beside me and it all came through the vents/door and stunk up my room severely. "
