“Very spacious and clean. Living room with full kitchen, multiple balconies, fantastic view as in courtyard. Convenient location, near restaurants, cathedrals and everything. The little craft beer bar just besides it got great beers. ”

“I had a number of issues that made my stay an unhappy one. However, when asked if I’d enjoyed my stay, the manager was truly interested in hearing about my experiences. He made me feel heard and appreciated my feedback and that meant the world to me. The hotel is lovely. The staff is accommodating. The breakfast menu was full of good choices. The location is picturesque. Amarla could be perfect if there were an anytime ”before noon”breakfast. This is vacationing after all and I really wanted to……

“The neighborhood is completely sketchy. There were people yelling all night until a gun shot around 3:30am. The staff gave no worrying that the neighborhood was not safe but when I went to checkout in the morning the guard was noticeably concerned. Don’t stay here unless you plan to take a taxi straight there and plan to leave via taxi without going out in the neighborhood. You won’t sleep well with the noise outside”

“I absolutely loved this property. It was in an incredible location, the architecture and ambience fit in with old town Panama very well. Most notably the staff went above and beyond all of the time. The doormen could not have been more helpful. They truly cared that we had a great stay, and that goes such a long way.”

“Well maintained and stocked apartment with wonderful ocean views. However, communication with the owner/manager left a lot to be desired. When I entered the apartment, I noticed that the bedroom was missing its television. I reached out, and received a fairly speedy, friendly response from my host that s/he would hasten to install a tv in the bedroom - sadly, the host went eternally silent and there was no subsequent follow-up. This was a little disappointing. Otherwise, a great place to unwind……

“I contacted the hotel a few days before arrival to ask about early check-in or storing my luggage. I explained that I had three suitcases and would arrive around noon. The manager responded and was accommodating, and I followed up again on the day of arrival for details. However, when I arrived, I discovered the elevator does not work and that I had to carry my suitcases up three flights of stairs. There was no front desk, just a restaurant, and no one available to assist. I messaged the……

“The place was nice and quiet and peaceful. No restaurant, except for breakfast. No bar, only beer. The young lady charged us an extra $15.00 because we needed a bottom floor room, instead of walking up a flight of stairs.”
