"Delightful bijou apartment in a quiet area but close to main thoroughfares. Easy walking all around the old city. Boulangerie, small supermarket, various shops and cafes within 200m. Private terrace with views over the pan-tiled roofs and the papal palace, not overlooked. Host pleasant and courteous. Shower room doorway quite low, but spacious shower and plenty of hot water. Not perhaps for the very tall or those who want to cook full meals, but it suited me perfectly."

"Small, well decorated cottage perfect for one or two. Quiet, peaceful neighborhood and gorgeous backyard. Kitchen equipped for light cooking, I tested it out with a pasta dish and omelettes and had everything I needed. Lovely walk to the town center, really no need for transportation. If you prefer the tram be sure to pick up a refillable card and download the app."

"This is our second visit here and it was fantastic just like the last time .There’s everything you require for a self catering stay, Full size cooker, microwave ,large fridge freezer etc . It’s situated in a quiet neighbourhood of Avignon.They do have a parking space for 1 vehicle which is great and it’s off road . The hosts Lucie & Michel are very nice people they make you feel so welcome you feel like a family member .You are only a 5 min walk to the tram station .There’s plenty of local shops...

"Nice, clean and centrally located. The property manager does not speak any English so can be difficult to ask any questions. I would suggest that they leave a map of the area and suggestions for restaurants etc for those that aren’t familiar with the area. We got lost quite a few times. Beautiful city and well maintained VRBO."

"The apartment is spacious, comfortable and nicely decorated. The appliances work well, linens are generous as are dishes. The apartment is close to tourist venues but in a quiet neighbourhood. Our hostess, Frédérique was charming and gave us excellent advice for restaurants and day trips, and invaluable taxi assistance."

"Sweet place. Everything you need. Enjoyed the patio too even in November. It was sunny and protected. Close walk to the old city. The parking was a bit hard to find but the host and his flat mate helped us figure it out. And, if you are traveling by car, probably better place than inside the old town and paying extra for it."

"This was a bright, comfortable, welcoming apartment in a location that would be ideal for many families. The only caveat would be that if you are driving/renting a mini-van, you might want to consider another location. We got hopelessly lost trying to navigate a maze of narrow, one-way streets that were definitely not made for our 7-passenger vehicle (very stressful)! We finally found a public parking space several blocks from the apartment (by the city wall) that we barely fit into after...

"Overall great rental a few minutes walk away from the Old City so great quality price ratio. Very quiet neighborhood with grocery store 5 minute walk. We traveled with 2 young children so the bath and high chair were a major plus. Big rooms, great outdoor space Philippe great host very easy to reach and accommodating."

"The property was beautiful with a gorgeous view over the square. Very close to parking at Les Halles. Nearby are restaurants and a supermarket. When the weather is fine the diners do stay up late so can be a bit noisy. There is so much to see and do in the area. We loved our time in Avignon."

"I loved the location, right across the street from the old city. There was a grocery store next door, very convenient. The property seems to be student residences as well as hotel and has laundry facilities, safe bicycle storage, recycling, an exercise room and breakfast for an extra fee, which we didn't do. The bed was comfy, the kitchen was fine, the shower was great, the room was very spacious, but with a characterless, unadorned feel. Still, over all, good value. "

"The area does not feel safe. Although it is on hotels.com, it does not have a 24 hour front desk. The check-in time is 3pm - 7pm. The place does not provide an alternative check-in method unless arranged before hand. We were traveling during the day without connectivity and were not able to receive their email. When we arrived in the evening, we had no way to check-in, and had to book a different hotel in the mid of the night. Afterwards, they refused to refund even we did not stay at the...
