“Delightful property in the countryside, very relaxing”

“A beautiful old farmhouse with a lovely large garden in a lovely area. We enjoyed ourselves and the property was very clean and well presented. A minor issue (shower fell apart in one bathroom) was resolved quickly and with no fuss or question. We all felt a few more consumables would have been provided for a property of this size and quality. Many others we have stayed in over the years have provided a few bin bags for example (we were given one spare) and we had to move light bulbs about when……

“The campsite is reached via a very stony track, which may not be ideal for a particularly low car, although luckily we had a 4x4. On arrival, Nick gave us a warm welcome and showed us how everything worked in the shower block, as well as where to find the communal fridge and freezer.Everything was clean, tidy and well looked after. We stayed in the dome, which was lovely, cosy and warm, with everything we needed close at hand. The power pack was particularly useful, as it meant we could easily……

“Spent 3 nights in Batty’s barn for a wedding where our family stayed in all 3 properties on the farm. The farm is beautiful with loads of colours from the wild flowers. The welcome basket with bread, butter, jam etc was a lovely touch and very much appreciated. Ed was super helpful so much so member of the wedding party broke down in the day of the wedding and he helped bringing the family member to the wedding venue being a true life saver! Beds were lovely and comfy and the house was lovely……
