Positives: -The owners (British husband and French wife) are delightful, friendly and helpful - The secure car park is a big plus in Epernay - it’s a nice 30 minute walk into town along the Avenue de Champagne - Breakfast is included and is good and varied -there is a nice lounge with a fire to sit in Things to note: - the walls are paper thin and you can hear every conversation or noise from not only the rooms……

“First of all, I would like to thank the lady working at the reception on New Year’s Eve for her friendly and wonderful welcome. As for the hotel, it was one of the most unhealthy nights of sleep I’ve ever had. I am aware that the hotel is ibis Budget, meaning a low-budget hotel. But what they consider a pillow in the room cannot possibly be a pillow! It’s a rag that threatens human health! The bed is the same. I’m not talking about luxury or even comfort!! I’m talking about the most basic items……
