excellent location - can walk to amenities / food places / transportation

We loved the location and the suite is very spacious. However the carpet and furniture was old and the bathroom needed updating - the tub area, some staining. Then.on checkout my bill was substantially more than I was quoted and expected. It turns out they charged me twice for certain fees. They didn't do anything at the hotel just said that was the fees but when I got home and rechecked and called them they adjusted the bill. I am still waiting to see how it goes with the ridiculous over $800 security deposit for one night they took - again amount was not disclosed ahead of time. Plus it was for some weird amount like 843.46??? The manager could not explain that amount of the hold. One positive, even though they charge for it, the early checkin was worth it for us. The breakfast which we got for free was okay. Basic but hit the spot.
