Friendly and quiet

Short summary: clean, friendly, helpful, convenient. Great breakfast (even with the more limited options during the virus). Larger double Rooms facing the stream are very quiet. Fan in room. Large tub/shower combo in our room. Pictures provided are accurate. My husband and I checked in early, and since very the room was already ready, we were able to go up right away. We were originally just planning on dropping off our luggage and exploring right away. We walked from the main Bahnhof, and not Orst. It was about 20min along the stream, so it was nice and doable. But it is much closer to the Bad Krozingen Orst Bahnhof. We were on the top (4th) floor and had a wonderful, quiet view of the stream and a bit of the forest. I don't bevlive there is an elevator, so if walking up that far would be an issue, i would recommend requesting a room on one of the lowest floors. We had one of the larger double rooms, with a small couch (large enough for a child or small adult to sleep comfortably), large bed, and a tub. When looking at the building from the outside, it appears that different types of rooms (i.e. Single, double, suite, etc) are all clustered together with the same style. So some of the types of rooms would face the street rather than the stream. Overall very happy with our choice. We preferred having a hotel farther from the noise of town and it payed off! We always had a restful and peaceful sleep.
