「Lovely and very kind staff. Check in earlier, which was very good. Spa and pool area was overcrowded and not so clean. A lot of children jumping and playing. The facilities were not as expected from a 4 star hotel. Saunas were out of order. Had very good dinner and drinks and service though. Some areas of the hotel needed repair. 」

「The hotel was in a superb location with stunning views. We enjoyed the stay and loved the alfresco experience in the square in the evening with lights and coziness. The choice of breakfast was simple but we loved the freshly cooked omelette which set us up for the day wandering around the citadel. The only gripe we had was hair on the salami tray but it happens when you have buffet breakfast with guests. 」

Upon arrival, the receptionist clearly told us that we did not have a reservation and that the hotel was fully booked. Showing her the booking confirmation from Expedia did not change her position.
