We really enjoyed our stay at The Manor at Camp John Hay. Staff are respectful and courteous and dressed properly. I just found it noisy because the windows have to be opened as there is no air conditioning. The sound of vehicles outside and the people talking can be heard so loud.

Super outdated 4 star hotel
Pros: Spa was great, and the ala carte food from the downstairs restaurant was delicious (but not the buffet). Come: Definitely not a 4 star hotel. Rooms are outdated, and staff is inconsistent on service. Even check-in was not friendly.

The only thing that I don't like is that there are cockroaches in the restroom. Otherwise, our overall experience was great and we love the holiday theme. Buffet was great as well.

Surrounding area is tranquil but somewhat undermined by the regular check-out reminders. We had a great view of the pine trees and it felt overall peaceful. But you feel a bit rushed with the regular check-out reminders (letter through door, phone call, and light flickers 5mins before checkout time). We had every intent to check-out on time, so this felt annoying. If the purpose of this was to ensure the next guest was able to check-in immediately, then it doesnt help their case that we had to wait over an hour for our room to get ready when we first arrived.

Most of the staff are friendly and are helpful with getting taxi service. Breakfast is not included and while I did pay for one breakfast buffet pass, the food was limited and the quality was a little lacking. The facilities and rooms need some updating. The shower ran out of water on the last two days of my trip. Housekeeping was efficient

From the onset of our stay, the attentiveness of the hotel staff made us feel right at home. Not only was the service exemplary, but the culinary delights both in-room and at the hotel restaurants were nothing short of spectacular. Despite the downpour outside, the ambiance within the hotel made our holiday feel bright and cozy. The design and atmosphere transformed what could have been a gloomy day into an intimate and serene retreat. A special mention must go to their Lost & Found department. After mistakenly leaving behind my MacBook charger, the team promptly mailed it to my Manila address, saving me from much stress and inconvenience. All in all, this hotel is not just a place to stay, but an experience in itself. Highly recommended for anyone seeking more than just a room for the night!

Overall The Manor is still a classy and elegant place to stay in. What i didnt like is during the evening there was a wedding and the noise is audible in the room Until 10PM. I hope hotel doesn’t allow events on the garden due to noise in the rooms. The staff were courteous except for the one in the front desk which took a lot of time during check in because probably she was new. What i did not like also was that i find the “extra person” charge misleading. I thought extra person will not be charged if not using extra bed as what one reservations officer told me (I clarified this day before checking in so i was surprised upon chek in on a different statement). If you use the same bed, extra person will still be charged (in excess of two). Be mindful as breakfast is not yet inculded in the room rate. Overall still a pleasant stay except for some nuisances which could have been avoided. Appreciate the accommodation extended to us .

This season weather is not good specially hotels in baguio doesn't have a/c. Also since we left patio open we hear noises from them setting the dinning area as early as 0530am

Very nice stay. Still the most convenient place to stay in. But can improve /change their bed matress. For a one BR suite the at a very high price, the bed seems like a double bed not queen bed, and the bed mattress is already sagging. Very worn out. Didn’t have extra bed available for exchange.

The hotel itself and cleanliness is profoundly excellent. But the service and the stuff are dissapoimting. Two TV and blow dry in our suite are not working. 2 hours delayed for check in. So expensive for the dissapointing service.

This is an institution! The building has so much history. However, we were given a room above the reception and the restaurant. It was very noisy. We had to ask to be transferred to a room at the back which we did the 2nd night. There was a wedding and a golf tournament. When these events happen they should not use these rooms. The music lasted long after 10 pm and stopped around 10:45 pm after I called the front desk but the customers kept carrying on. We had a very bad first night.

I have stayed there before, but now, for dining purposes, dining for two in a nicer part of the restaurant is virtually impossible, as the hotel is mainly catering for large groups, leaving a romantic evening for two unobtainable. Neither my wife or I have ever smoked, yet, at 11pm we were rudely awaken, first by phone, and then by a security guard and an engineer wanting to enter our room to fix the smoke alarm, what a farce! What with the dining experience I have decided to never stay there again, my money is best spent where it is welcomed, and treated with some respect.

The Manor is always a good location. It is summer thus we requested for a tower fan. Need some updating on internal lights but the overall experience is always good.

The hotel is good overall. Services was just okay. No one answers the phone! Really, nobody. I requested via email instead, a high floor close to elevator momths before our reservation. I emailed saying I'm staying with my mom who is 80yo and guess what... they put us on the ground floor, all the way to the end of the hotel on the first level! I paid extra for garden view but end up with a so, so room. Then my mom has to walk that far. Ridiculous.They apologized and said they will try to move us next day. Next day come, the front desk was clueless about our room transfer (meaning it was not noted). We have packed and moved out since we are going out to do sightseeing. When we came back they can't give us our room request. Instead offer us a mountain view (not what I paid for) but on the 2nd floor as we like. Frustrating and disappointing. Jammica from front desk was polite and courteous and apologetic. We like her. Rod at the Piano Bar was very accommodating and attentive which helped us enjoy the music lounge. Room amenities are so, so. Von at the breakfast buffet needs training. I asked for teaspoon "and he said yes, ma'am of course" but it never came. I kept looking at him to see if he's going to give me what I asked for, but he either ignored or forgot. Some staff needs training. They don't do follow up, to see how you are enjoying your meal or if you need anything. You have to try hard to get their attention so you can services (additional food order, or to bill out).

Great stay for family and business travellers. Service and facilities are excellent. A great place to stay during Christmas season because their garden has turned into a Christmas village. There’s movie viewing too for everyone at night. We will definitely come back!

I got a room with balcony facing the garden. I love their huge garden! The room has No aircon unit. It only has a ceiling fan. When we were there, the weather is cool, so it’s ok for me. The rooms were clean and it was sanitized using a UV light..
