The grounds feature a fantastic infinity swimming pool with sweeping jungle views and a partial ocean view. With temperatures hovering in the '80s day and night, there's never a bad time to take a dip in the pool at Villa Dalu.
Walking through the front door, you'll be swept away by the villa's stunning ceiling-to-floor glassdoor sightlines and vaulted wood ceiling. From the kitchen table, you can literally watch toucans and hawks buzz past these windows in search of their daily meals. It's an awesome ritual that puts you right in the middle of the jungle action.
The home is also fully stocked with all of the proper equipment you'll need for a fulfilling, yet relaxing, vacation, including new cooking utensils, a blender, coffee pot, and dishwasher. Other home amenities include a washer and dryer as well as wireless internet.
As mentioned, there are 3 bedrooms and 2 ½ bathrooms total. Two of the three bedrooms feature king beds, while the third bedroom has a pair of twin beds. Each bedroom has an air-conditioning unit. The master bedroom features an en-suite bathroom and direct access to the pool deck, with spectacular views as well.
From the international airport in San Jose, it takes about 3 ½ hours to drive to the area where Villa Dalu is located. You will need a 4x4 vehicle to make the short drive up the mountain from the coastal highway. From the property, it takes 15 minutes to drive into Uvita town, where you'll find grocery stores, pharmacies, banks, restaurants, bars, and shopping.
There are also some exciting tour activities nearby, including deep-sea fishing, surfing lessons, ATV rides, SUP tours, kayaking, snorkeling, river rafting, canopy zip lines, horseback riding, and a couple of epic waterfall hikes. The beaches in this zone are among the nation's finest, including the world-famous Whale's Tail reef, which you can actually see from the property when the tides are right, as well as the mesmerizing sea caves of Playa Ventanas.
