"Victor welcomed us into his home and took us on a tour so we could familiarize ourselves. He also sent a document with a quick overview and important notes about the property and surrounding area. The house was great! Our group of 7 fit easily, with plenty of communal spaces. The property itself was also amazing. We were able to go on walks around the area and come back to sit and relax with a coffee or nectarine from the trees outside. Overall, great experience!"

"Fatima welcomed and attended to us as if we were family. Deonilde delivered fresh bread in the morning and did our laundry. The view was spectacular, especially poolside. Our children adored picking oranges and making fresh-squeezed orange juice, and Francisco was a wonderful host and kept us well supplied with firewood for our stormy stay. "Our hosts, Maria Eugenia and Jose, were amazing! Kind, informative, generous, helpful, I can't say enough about them. We stayed for four days, two couples in the larger home. It was spacious, each couple with their own bathroom. We ate most of our meals at home. Our comadre caught a cold right upon arrival. She had a comfortable place to read, rest and recover, while we enjoyed the pool and had such a wonderful outing in the boat on the Douro river. This was definitely a once in a life time...

"We’ve had such a lovely stay at this lovely villa. It’s a very quiet area, with lovely views of the river. We were 3 families staying for the week, we thoroughly enjoyed the (heated!) pool everyday, we had a couple of days wakesurfing on the river Douro and a couple of trips to the beach and river beach. we also thoroughly enjoyed a cooked meal at the villa by Alda, she is a very talented chef. Check in and out process was seamless with a very smiley welcoming Alda meeting us at the property....

"The location of this villa is ideal if you want to separate yourselves from crowds and drink in nature and peaceful views. An absolutely perfect setting to gather with friends or family and enjoy leisurely meals while overlooking a beautiful valley. I highly recommend this place and the host. The host is quick to communicate and was a gracious host the five days we were there. Unobtrusive and but helpful. If you get that chance to stay here, do! You won't regret it."
