Serene lake getaway

Can't beat the location for an incredible view of the Cana lighthouse. House is clean, well maintained and has everything you need. Wonderful place to unplug and unwind. Highly recommend for a peaceful haven.

View of Cana Lighthouse

We stayed for three nights and had a relaxing fun time. The weather was clear one day and cloudy. We hiked ant Peninsula State Park and visited the Lighthouse (great view from the top).

Weekend Refresh

The cozy house was a perfect spot for our girls’ weekend. We enjoyed the view of the Cana Island Lighthouse and the sounds of the calming waves. The open concept main living space was perfect for cooking meals (and the heated floors in the kitchen were an extra bonus). The beds were comfy and having two bathrooms was very convenient. I would love to stay here again!

A Lovely Haven in the Woods

Beautiful facility - had any amenities a guest might need. The beauty of it all was breathtaking...I was absolutely enthralled by the Cana Island Lighthouse and spent many hours on the deck and the benches by the beach just taking it all in. The cottage was so comfortable! After spending the day shopping/sightseeing on the Green Bay side, it was so nice to return "home" to the calm, serene surroundings of the cottage in the woods.

Quiet Side Stunner

We love Boreal Beach House. This was our second visit. The house is spotless and comfortably appointed. The view is stunning and ever-changing. Highly recommend!

Gem on the bay

This was our 3rd visit to Boreal Beach House. It is predictably a 5 star stay for us. We are so comfortable there we think of it as our summertime home. You get privacy due to the location and in addition lots of sunshine to enjoy on the front porch. Will repeat this great stay next year. John and Monica

Escape!

A great way to experience Door County and escape from reality for awhile! The owner's have done a beautiful job of decorating, offering everything one could need. I highly recommend this vacation rental for anyone who has a love for water, sunrises and periodic moments of laziness with a little glass of wine on the side!!

Great property

Really enjoyed our stay here. The kitchen was well-stocked, we loved the heated floors, the lighthouse was gorgeous at night, and everything worked perfectly. The only suggestion I have is to update the shower head in the larger bathroom - it was not the best shower experience because it sprays all over and I don’t usually wash my hair every day. Other than that - loved the property and would come back!

Beautiful property

I don't think the photos do this home justice. Beautiful location on Lake Michigan - we loved falling to sleep to the sound of gentle waves. Really lovely decor in the home. Very comfortable beds. Can't beat the quiet location near Cana Island. Though the shoreline was rocky and not ideal for swimming, a great little beach was a short bike ride away. We will be back!

I just returned from 4 days in this beautiful home. Pictures really do not do this place justice, inside or out. It was a fabulous experience. Very clean. My sister and I slept on the pullouts and they were very comfortable. Thanks for letting us borrow your place for a bit, Steve and Amy! I do plan on a return visit soon!

Great house on the lake!

Perfect size for two couples. Kitchen appliances have been upgraded since the photos so that was a plus. Kitchen is very well stocked with everything you need and more. Views are amazing! Beds were comfortable. Internet worked great. We felt bad walking in and out constantly on the white carpet in the living room. Could use a step or two off the deck for easier access to the firepit and water but that's just nitpicking. Lots of firewood on site was another nice bonus. Overall A+ property!

Amazing!

The pictures do not do this house justice. The house was very clean! No issues with checking in or out. The rock beach was great for the kiddos. They explored it for as long as they could “before they got cold”. The host was very helpful. The internet went out and I messaged Steve and he replied in a matter of minutes!! Great service!! Again over all amazing experience, trying to figure out when to come back in the warmer months.

Short stay with bad spring weather

Our stay was short and the weather was not good (rain and high wind the whole time). The view was great but the rocky shoreline made it more difficult to enjoy. The cabin was nice but both showers were pretty bad.

Door county getaway

I wanted an out of the way, peaceful place on the water to relax and enjoy a few sunrises. This wooded property was perfect. Well equipped with everything we needed. Indoor fire place was much appreciated at night while playing games and sipping wine. Everything was clean and comfortable.
