"My cousin and I were looking for a place to stay for four nights. We wanted our own rooms but we could share a bathroom. We wanted something rather central to the sightseeing we plan to do. Shelby‘s place was great. We each had our own room in the bathroom was roomy and had everything we needed. There was a kitchen and refrigerator and everything you would need if you needed to cook, but we didn’t cook except for morning coffee we found it very pleasant and a nice little living room to put our feet up after a long day of sightseeing."

"We had a wonderful stay for our first time on West Grand Lake! The cabin had everything we needed and was perfect for a relaxing getaway. We brought our two dogs, and they absolutely loved running down to the dock each morning to swim and look for fish. The views were stunning from sunrise to sunset — truly unforgettable. It’s an ideal spot for fishing, swimming, hiking, or just unwinding by the water. Thank you for a fantastic stay! We’re looking forward to booking again "

"A great home-base location to explore all downeast Maine has to offer. Local shops & Whale Watching in Eastport a quick drive away and within an hour drive to great hiking & iconic lighthouses. Then the family was able to wind down on the back porch & enjoy the view. "

"Stayed for a week and enjoyed every moment. The house was clean and very well-equipped. The location was very private and easy to access. We swam every day. The lake and waterfront were very swimmable, but I recommend wearing water shoes as it can be a bit rocky. Proximity to the coast and Eastport, Lubec, etc, is great. We were very comfortable here. We had our 80-pound dog, Stella, with us, and she approves as well. We would definitely return. Zero complaints."
