"This hotel was so conveniently located on a main road, right off the 495, near so many restaurants and stores and a few minute drive to the wineries and farms. The property was spotless and very nice and accommodating. We had a 2 queen room for a family of 4 and it was perfectly spacious. We have small kids so we used the pool and hot tub. The pool was a little too cold for my liking but my kids had a blast. The hotel was great all around. I am sure we will be back again next fall!"

"We stayed here for a second year in a row and absolutely loved it! The home is bright, clean and comfortable. The family dining and meeting area saw fun get-togethers with delicious food. The yard is so beautiful and perfect for a fast-paced family game of badminton. It is just a short walk to the stunning, boulder-strewn beach, or, in the other direction, some very wonderful farm stands (with fresh vegetables, fruits, sandwiches, breads, pies, dairy delicacies, and assorted gift shops!) Incredibly, Long Island experienced no hurricanes this year. But of course, THERE WAS that 'week-long' Nor'easter in late September; the likes of which we hadn't seen in 35 years. This lovely home was rock solid, dry and toasty-warm through the whole storm. We awoke in the first week of October to find the beach completely re-configured. There were some big surprises. But alas, The Sunsets are still spectacular. One finds oneself taking several walks a day just to keep tabs on what is happening at each tide!! (LOL). The Host's well-written guidebook is wonderful, and she is easy to reach if one has a question. Scientifically, we are still trying to figure out why food tastes so good after a long swim? It is very strange. We'll have to come back next year to investigate this phenomena further."

"Very nice facility. Bed was comfortable. Shower was nice and clean. Very friendly employees. Even tho we had no hot water the morning we were leaving, we called the front desk and they had someone repair that within a half hour. Only set us back a little bit that morning but very happy it wasn’t worse."

"The location to the private beach is easily the best feature, use the stairs leading down to the beach rather than the trail. The owner was kind enough to leave beach chairs in the backyard.All of the bedrooms are sized nicely, and get a good amount of natural light. The dining room table is spacious and great for larger groups of people.There's a separate office space for those who might need to work. The outdoor grill is brand new and would be great for cooking family dinners."

"This is a continuation of our previous 5-star review: We stayed one month and loved it so much we came back for a 2nd month. The host was responsive and easy to communicate with throughout our entire stay. Not only is the house wonderful for family gatherings, it has a well-equipped, spacious kitchen with excellent counter-space to do prep-work for whole-group summer meals. The home's temperature control system is beyond excellent, and can handle anything including cold mornings from a Nor'easter, to those baking hot Long Island afternoons, so everyone in the house stays comfortable without thinking about it. Outside, the grill and the patio are relaxing and inviting. The living room, not only great for company, is also equally enjoyed by reading a book in solitude on the plush sofa while keeping an eye on all the drama happening with the bird-feeder outside. Who knew chipmunks were so devious? And, of course: A Sunset Hike on the beach is absolutely required (even after swimming during the day)! However, do not delude yourself: there are MANY expert photographers of local Boulders, Clouds, and Solar Magnificence. You will have stiff competition. The beauty of a NorthFork evening can not be described, or even captured by a pic. Although, we will have to keep trying."
