We really enjoyed our stay here. We especially enjoyed star gazing from the hot tub and the nearby canyon switchbacks as we had some great dark sky views. The staff were friendly and helpful and the rooms were nice. The dirt road to get out there was in pretty good shape overall.

Location is a bit remote but really nice and clean. Communications with the lodging was excellent with updates/directions. Since it is a canyon, the dark sky experience was great!!! We did not get to use any for the facilities (pool, hot tub, grill, etc.). Big place for kids to play outdoors, has a game room, etc.

Terrific hotel! Set off from the highway but close to Great Basin National Park. Different options for stay - hotel rooms, individual cabins and camping. Hotel room was large and clean and included a small kitchen. Loved the stargazing. Would definitely stay here again!

This place was spectacular! Totally in the middle of nowhere but so beautiful and the best place to stay for a visit to Great Basin National Park. Amenities were plentiful. Lots of wildlife and just gorgeous scenery. Room was clean and big!

Very remote area however wonderful. Deer visit during the evening, able to see lots of stars at night. Nice hot tub, pool was cold and a little dirty. Staff was nice and so was the room. Overall a nice stay.

This is a very out of the way gem. If you are going to Great Basin National Park, this is a lovely home base - and they turn off all the outside lights at night so you can see the stars!

The room was clean and nicely furnished. It had a big screen TV with cable and the kitchen was equipped enough to prepare meals. The staff were friendly and helpful. It is remote and takes a while to drive the dirt road to get to it from the highway. It was perfect for visiting the Great Basin National Park. There isn't internet but that is probably a plus for having a relaxing time away with your family.

This place is an actual hidden gem! I love the communication from the facility prior to my stay about the road and recommended arrive before dark, the road is a dirt road with some twisty switchbacks. The property is adorable. The room was huge, with all the cooking equipment you could want! Including a toaster oven, toaster and hot plate! There are pretty much no services in the nearby town of Baker, and they stated so in the information prior to arrival. I loved that they had so many food choices for purchase in the office. The girl who checked people in was extremely informative and courteous. Right before dusk, there were a dozen turkeys outside the room door! The room was impeccably clean and up to date. I loved having a reclining full size couch and a swivel tv.

the place was GREAT. Only a couple weak spots - the pool furniture was pretty bad & it's a long tough dirt road to get to Hidden Canyon. Those things aside, they have made a very successful effort to make it wonderful to be a guest there.

This was our second stay at HIdden Canyon. The room was comfortable and quiet. The kitchen area has fridge, cooktop, toaster oven and dishes. Our daily token allotment covered our frozen dinners/pizzas and a few treats. We enjoyed watching the deer and turkeys. There's a great pool but the water was really cold so only used it once. But we did sit outside every night to watch the stars. The outdoor lights go out at 9:30 so viewing is optimal.

Just know the road into the property is 7 miles of well maintained gravel road with curves and hills. The facility was as stated, clean and comfortable. Breakfast is chosen from items in the store which you microwave. Worked well.

This hotel is in a beautiful oasis, what can be better than being greeted by deers in the morning and in the late afternoon coming home. The room(s) we had are properly equipped with everything we need; the beds are so comfortable, the surroundings are just so serene and nice; although there is no longer breakfast served in the morning, the kitchenette and the little store onsite is sufficient to meet our meal making needs. The tokens we were provided allowed us to get the essentials for us to make a total of 4 meals, can’t be any better. We will return when we are back to the great basin area again.

The rooms are very modern with everything you need to stay for several days or a week. The office that was only open from 3 to 9 PM so if you need anything today, you check in for the next morning you need to get it right there and there.
