Was not at all what I expected. Sink had water build up on it and the room smelled terrible. Mattress on bed was very uncomfortable. I could feel the bed springs!

If you like the smell of urine

So when I got there, I was greeted by the service desk, he was very, nice very helpful, very pleasant, and after that it went downhill from there. we get to our room and it smell like urine. we were afraid to take off our socks and shoes because of how filthy the floor was, it didn't look like it had been mopped at all. the drain in the sink took 5 minutes to drain after brushing your teeth, and the shower was disgusting. trying to get to sleep that night was crazy, between the uncomfortable bed, the smell of urine and just being uncomfortable there. upon waking up in the morning we turn the heater, and to our surprise we got blasted with the worst smell of hot urine! we've never had such an unpleasant visit before, we stay at many other Hotel. the plus side was the good have free coffee, and it wasn't half bad. will I ever stay there again. no!

The ice machines have been removed. The continental breakfast was pretty sparse. Lots of noise from I-5 on the side facing the interstate. The backing was coming off of the drapes and the threads were coming out of the bed spreads. The room appeared to be clean and the water was hot.

Great cheap, comfortable stay for highway stopover

I can't imagine anyone spending weeks here but for a pitstop on the way up or down the coast, this place is perfectly clean and comfortable for the right price. Plenty of places to eat around and a cosy room to rest for the night (heating was great in winter).

Comfortable bed, quiet room, very clean, very pleasant staff. Lovely selection for continental breakfast. The room itself could use some touch-ups with regard to the flooring & tub, but these were merely cosmetic problems that did not affect my stay.

Great place to stay at a great rate

Great place to stay on your way to LA. Nice bed, clean, with everything you need at a great price too. Also has an excellent Indian restaurant right next door. :)

2019 D2 wrestling championships

D2 Wrestling championships in Shafter were very competitive. We placed 4th. Firebaugh High is known for great commitment to wrestle hard ,aggressive and relentlessly. Our hotel had a great price and good service from Brandy. 2 of the in room phones did not work for the wake up call. Thejacuzzi did not work either. We did not eat there due to having to go to weigh ins so I cannot comment on the breakfast. There is a Starbucks real close and plenty of places to eat so we ate at 3 different places Friday night. Great price good service. . GO EAGLES

Pubic hair in the sheets!!!

Tried 2 different rooms and both had hair on the pillow cases and the sheets. It was both head hair and pubic hair. The rooms clearly hadn't been cleaned in between stays. They ended up refunding my money and I booked another room in the hotel across the street.

Price was cheap, but this is a dumpy motel, with constant freeway noise, threadbare linens, very sparse breakfast choices (ie. just toast), and a shower head that only a small person could fit under. Not the worst place, but I certainly wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

Cleanliness and Noise

Overall hotel condition was low. Breakfast included waffle and cereal (too bad there was no eggs/sausage or something hot) Anyway, heater was very noisy that kept making knocking noise and would wake us up. WiFi was so weak that we ended up not using it. The only good thing about this hotel was the price.
