Designed by artists and just minutes from Penland School of Crafts, Conley House is the perfect creative space! A modern cabin located on 6 acres with almost no neighbors in sight, we are also just 15 minutes to shopping/groceries. Our fast fiber optic internet also makes working remotely a breeze!

Filled with all the comforts of home, guests love our stunning views, tableware made by local artists, chef’s kitchen and large bedroom suites.

We are available via text and phone calls and are always happy to make recommendations to help you have a wonderful getaway! We also have a strong team of people locally who can help address any issues :-)

Located just minutes from Penland School of Crafts, America’s oldest and largest fine craft school, the neighborhood and surrounding area are filled with crafts people and artists. It is safe, rural, and full of small businesses, galleries, and studios to explore. Being at the foot of Roan Mountain and Mt Mitchell, there is great hiking, too! Plus, waterfalls, rivers and all sorts of natural beauty. Take a drive down the Blue Ridge Parkway to see a historic pathway to the beautiful mountains of North Carolina.

Guests have access to the cabin on the property. There is an artist studio adjacent to the cabin which is locked and is not available to guests.

Directions and access instructions will be emailed to you prior to arrival.

Guests will need transportation to visit the area. Cabs, Uber, and Lift are not options currently.

Located off state maintained roads just 15 minutes from shopping & exploring in Spruce Pine, Burnsville, and Bakersville, and just 48 miles from Asheville, Conley House is a modern mountain gem with lots to do!

You can get away from it all, play games, explore the well-known crafts trail, take a class at Penland, hike to waterfalls, or indulge in the local shops and restaurants of the area. Guests at Conley House are given a picture filled booklet of favorite spots to help them plan a truly amazing local experience!
