Excellent Retreat

This was the perfect place for a long weekend away. The place was incredibly cozy, and provided a lovely place from rest and relaxation. The bathtub is AMAZING and the location was perfect - beautiful views all round, a lovely walk along a river, and a pub! It was nice to not be right in the centre of Bakewell but was still incredibly convenient. Highly recommend!

Great little place

We stayed this weekend, family of four with a dog. What a lovely property in a lovely village. We were touched by the welcome basket left for us. Thank you! Can highly recommend and we would definitely stay again

We had a fabulous Christmas break at the Old Stables.

We had a fabulous Christmas break at the Old Stables. The owners were very welcoming as was the Christmas themed welcome basket. Even a pint of milk in the fridge, always appreciated for a cuppa after a long journey. As a landlady myself we found a maintenance issue which the owners were not aware of, bearing in mind this was just before Christmas it was fixed the following day. Both Joy and Chris couldn't do enough to make our stay brilliant. We really hope to return again.
