This resort was amazing. The grounds are kept extremely clean. It's a wonderful drive up the highway in one of the most well kept areas of Cebu. The view from the room was incredible. The staff was very accommodating. They delivered breakfast to our room. They called in the morning to ask if we wanted breakfast before they stopped serving it. The grounds workers helped me strap my luggage to the motorcycle. The food was great. Wifi worked great and the shower had an incredible view of the mountains.Will definitely go back when in Cebu.

worth or not worth? we just wanted a change.
Local area - has nothing, no option other than what they offer Condition - ok, but we got group room.i booked for 2 adult and 3 kids and got group room of 17 people bedding room. Comfort - walking down and going up was difficult through steep way Clealiness - they cleaned only 3 bed as we were 6; rest of the bes had lizard poos. Our pillows and bed were dusty. My whole family is sensitive to dust and all of us suffered. Service - Ok, nothing to mention great. There were no enough hooks in bathrooms. Should provide internet. This place have no local telephone coverage too if you think of enable your mobike data. Nothing wouldnt work; you are just cut from outside world. No cartoon channels for infants! Restaurent food is just horrible; please improve your teams and change the menu of availble items; no beef soup at all.

Views were amazing. Great for hikers. Nice place to just switch off and relax as there is no wifi and hard to get phone reception in the rooms.

We had a good stay. The staff were friendly and the room was clean and spacious. The mountain view through the glass walls while using the bathtub was a definite plus. Airconditioning and wifi would have made our stay perfect.

Overnight Stay
The hotel is nice and we had nice view of the mountain which was great. Food is okay very limited option for vegetarians. The only thing that I don’t like about the place is the convenience you really need to have a car if you visit this area. They only have motorbikes which is very unsafe to travel around the neighbouring areas. My family had a great time but not for me not a lot of activities to do in this area. It’s better to come here for a day and not stay overnight.

the place is very serene and relaxing, and the weather is cold and almost always raining. better for the hotel to start providing more indoor activities like spa and masaage to entertain guest during rainy days.

Great staff and beautiful resort. The rooms are big and very clean. The staff go out of their way to make your visit comfortable. I highly recommend West 35 to get away from the busy city life and to relax in peace & beauty.

Great stay
Our stay in West 35 was amazing. We had our own bonfire area and it was quiet romantic at night. We had a good sleep even if there’s no airconditioning on the room. Wish they had one, though. It would also be great if they offer room service for breakfast and dinner.

no early breakfast
Nice and clean. One thing that turned me off was that they don't allow requests for early breakfast. We were joining a race which starts at 7am, they would not consider giving us pre packed breakfast for 5am. even some toast with eggs would have been fine. hard to get phone reception in the rooms. no wifi. otherwise good stay and gave us late check out until 1pm

The weather and view were superb!!! To get to the hotel room you have you stay fit, you will have to walk maybe 50 steps (down)!to get into your room. You must bring your umbrella just in case it rain especially during rainy season. Not advisable for old or senior citizens. Also, you have to close all the screen so that the insects from the outside will not join you in your bed while sleeping. Hahaha

Cool place to get away from the summer heat.
Great and comfortable stay. Good food. Staff were very accomodating. Spacious room and we had our own fire pit. Our housekeepers, Jason and Adela made sure all our needs were attended to. Jason fixed the minor problem we had with the cable tv while Adela set up the fire pit for us for our marshmallow roasting. Over all it was a wonderful experience, we would definitely go back.

Not worth the buck
service is good, only have some important features that a hotel should must have since the place has no Wifi, dont accept credit card, no ref in the room, no aircon, no chairs in the room, no toothbrush and soap cant remove any dirt. They charge corkage for putting your drinks in their restaurant refrigerator since the room as no ref. Day time has a nice view but during the night might get creepy when you open the windows and fog surrounds the room if you wake up in the middle of the night.

Great view, nice staff, amenities is great, room is nice except that the wall separating the rooms from each other doesnt have good acoustic, I can literally hear the families conversation from the other room. Did get to sleep early because of the noice and banging.

Great but...
The restaurant close early. Therefore if you stay and check in, better do advance order fro dinner. Which we did, but unfortunately when room service arrived and delivered the food, it was still too early for us to eat for dinner and we were so food went cold and what's worst, we were not given utensils. So my kids and I had to use our hands to eat. Good think we had grilled food and rice. There is no way to contact reception from the room. Hot water was not working very well. Restaurant staff were strict, stiff and pretends to be doing something. They do not even upsell. They cannot articulate the food. You'll end up guessing what your ordering. And they were not friendly and engaging. It's like they are waiting for 5 pm to go home. Overall, very nice mountain cabin resort theme. Perfect for families. But staff were not child friendly and service is poor. But the food was delicious and the pizza and pasta were kids favorite. Then only 5 star was our housekeeper lady I forgot her name. She set up the bonfire and outdoor Jacuzzi for me and my kids. She was the only person looking after if we are okay. She is awesome. Please commend her for doing a great job! Value for money, I would say pretty expensive for a poor service mountain cabin. If they will only train their people, I may pay more. But 1-2 nights stay is all you need for a nice nature encounter. #NatureHeals

Amazing outdoor experience. The kids loved the zipline and the small playground. The food in restaurant is average and closes at 6pm. Would be nice if they can extend the hours of food service beyond 6pm.

Unfortunately, i felt ill after eating my breakfast (Tapa with egg) not to mention, the meat was so hard. This eco mountain resort is not so safe for small children. You have to keep a close contact with your kids or else they might fell into the ravine, mine almost. The fence isn't safely done, just a single bar. The staff isn't courteous (reception, waiters and guest security) from our arrival up to leaving the resort, except for some housekeeping staff, the guard at the villa entrance seems not trained how to screen the house guest, so everytime we enter into our villa, I got offended by his improper statement of "only for those with room accomodation Maam", bec. it is also the way to the zipline. So, I keep on identifying ourselves that we have a room there. How inappropriate. They have to create something that will identify staying guest from day users.
