"Overall our stay was good. The rental company was very responsive and helpful. They were also able to let us check in a little early. They were very organized and clear on instructions. The condo is very old, the view you see in the one picture is from a tiny side porch that faces the street/another condo. The view from the front porch is staring directly at another condo that blocks the view of the ocean. The condo smelled musty when we walked in. Everything was clean except for the bathrooms...

"Good location. Unless you’ve packed a ton, close enough to walk from ferry without using the tram. Could use tissues, so bring them because there weren’t any. Otherwise, having the golf cart was great. Just don’t forget to pack beach towels and depending on the length of your stay you may need extra bath towels too."

"Summer Wind was perfect for us. Clean and well stocked. We loved being in the beach and being able to see and hear the ocean. It’s a great location and a great layout for us to enjoy. "Our family of four had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home. The location was perfect for us—an easy walk to South Beach, situated on a quiet stretch of the island while still being convenient to the market and harbor.The home itself was cozy, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, with plenty of room for our family to spread out, play games, watch movies, and relax on the deck while listening to the waves nearby.The kitchen was by far the best-equipped of any home we've stayed in on Bald Head Island over the years. It had everything we needed and made preparing family meals a pleasure. The beds and pillows were also exceptionally comfortable, so everyone slept well throughout the week.Perhaps most importantly, the owner was incredibly responsive and a pleasure to work with. This is one of our favorite homes we've stayed in on Bald Head Island, and we look forward to coming back in the future."

"Great location, well equipped kitchen, beach toys, bikes, beach chairs, fabulous views. Even though there are homes all around, there are still nice views of ships going in and out. Wonderful walking on the beach. Host was quite responsive when we had an issue (that was resolved). We've been coming to Bald Head for over 20 years, and this house stands out. We will be back!"
