“Beautiful room, looks brand new and was nicely appointed with very nice furniture. The fridge was retro and cute, bed was very comfortable. Some dustier floors than I would have liked but sometimes this is to be expected in beachy environments. This was nothing major, overall the room was lovely and comfortable and I would recommend this as a great place to stay. ”

“Found it strange that the room had no closet, wardrobe or any way to hang clothes or place suitcase other than bed or desk. Very disappointed in restaurant service on site. Walked in as single wanting to sit at a bar..:no bartender on duty at any of the bars in huge space. My room was pretty clean except the night table. Big fly buzzing around the room until I finally coaxed it out but for the under $100 night room, what can I expect?”

“The hotel is a little challenging to pull into off of Carolina Beach Road, but the property itself is clean and comfortable. There is a communal microwave that is not listed in the property description, so don't let that discourage you from getting leftovers to heat up.”

“This is a really nice independent hotel with a lot of charm. The location is great and the views are wonderful. The staff is very friendly and accomodating. We have stayed twice and will try and stay here every time we visit. If they had a food option on site, this would be amazing, but the town is a short golf cart ride away. Highly recommend for any stay in Southport. ”

“The motel was clean, staff friendly and parking was free and plentiful. Our view was from the side of the hotel but it was fine. Conveniently located and quiet. We had never been to Oak Island and I’m glad we decided to go! Our room was newly renovated and while there was not a lot of extra amenities, it was more than enough for our basic needs. Someone had mentioned in another review that there was no shampoo/conditioner/lotion and I found that to be helpful and I was prepared. The pier beside……
