Very clean room and comfortable beds. You can tell they try really hard to please all of their guests. This hotel is within walking distance to the river, restaurants and downtown shops. Highly recommend!

My son and I stayed overnight on our way to the Outer Banks. Room is clean and bed is comfortable- room has a mini fridge and coffeemaker. Our room was #1 and closest to the street so there was some traffic noise but it didn't keep us awake. Property manager/owners were excellent with communication which is a plus since there wasn't anyone on site. Would definitely stay here again!

The staff here was extremely organized and friendly. I had an issue with the toilet in my room and at 3:00 am helped me with this. They also assisted me in getting a unit with more room for us. Love this place.

Great refurbished old school motel. Room was clean and comfortable. Customer Service was spot on. Rebecca was a true pleasure and very helpful with restaurant referrals and things to do in the area. Already booked another stay!!

Really friendly staff with clear and useful communication. They had good recommendations for restaurants and places to see. Super convenient location and a great price for a last minute, holiday weekend trip. They had bikes to borrow and water for us in the fridge after a hot hot day. This was a pretty no-frills room but had everything we needed and the staff is definitely going the extra mile to make sure you’re happy.

This is a very comfortable property in the main part of this small town. It seems that the owner made a recent and very considerable investment to update the rooms and the results are outstanding. The room was spotless and very comfortable. They have a contactless check in procedure and it worked flawlessly. Would recommend.

Well situated location w/responsive staff. However, it is an older property which needs extra care, reeks of weed, has zero amenities & frankly I suspect the owner is allowing it to go to seed. It could be a great property w/some TLC & added staff, likewise the check in @ 4 & checkout @ 10 are the worst I’ve seen

Absolutely loved my stay at the Inn and visiting the surrounding area/ beaches. Exactly what I needed. Very cute, safe, clean, and convenient. True to pictures. Owner super helpful, polite and responsive. Southport is a cozy, inviting and relaxing little waterfront town. Looking forward to staying here again. My only issue, the shower (and bathroom) is very small, hard to wash my hair, couldn't really shave my legs. But still got the job done.

Not many hotels in this area making this place somewhat of an unfortunate limited option. The rooms and grounds are dated and dirty, bathroom and shower were very small and moldy, and large carpenter ants everywhere outside of the room. That being said, check in was easy and staff was attentive and communicated well. Sadly, there just aren’t many other options in Southport so will probably be forced to stay here again during an annual business trip. The place is in need of a complete overhaul and update.
