“We've been coming to Southport to visit family for 20 years and the Carriage House has always intrigued us but we've never stayed until now. It was absolutely wonderful. Amy was very friendly and knowledgeable and the facilities were amazing. I travel a lot and spend 30-45 days a year in hotels and this was one of my best experiences. I just wished we had more time to just stay at the Carriage House and enjoy it more, but we spent most of our time visiting family.”

“This was such a wonderful stay. The Beach House is so convenient to everything and just a walk across the street to the beach and pier. The Lazy Turtle is a perfect spot as well for a quick bite to eat or a delicious drink. The staff was so kind and helpful. We forgot our beach chairs and they have rentals that were incredibly reasonable so we could enjoy the day. They even loved on our sweet pup as well. We will definitely be back”

“Everyone working in the building were top-notch professional and willing to go that extra mile to assist and take care of our needs. The room with a river view was laid out with a small sitting area, king bed and huge bathroom. The shower was especially nice and easy to regulate without having to stand inside and get too hot or cold while trying to figure it out.
The daily 5:30 - 7:30 ‘happy hour’ with two free drinks per person and very nice appetizers was GREAT. Breakfast was included and a……

“This is our second time staying at Dry Dock Inn and we were very happy with our choice. The hotel is a short walk from the boardwalk and local shops. There is also a Lake park nearby. They have 2 outdoor pools and a small game room. The front desk staff let us check in when we arrived since our room was ready. They also allow late checkout for a reasonable fee. We will be back to Dry Dock Inn for our next trip to Carolina Beach.”
